You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Dakota!   Dakota is a 2-year-old, 60-lb bundle of energy and love who is ready to find his forever family! When Dakota first came into rescue, he hadn’t had much socialization, so we knew he would benefit from some structure and guidance. Thanks to the amazing team at PetSuites Bloomingdale, Dakota has spent time in doggy daycare learning how to properly interact and play with other dogs.   With their careful introductions and supportive environment, Dakota has blossomed into a well-adjusted, social pup who does great with people and other dogs. He’s a high-energy boy who loves to run, play, and would make the perfect adventure buddy for an active family. We’re unsure how he does with cats, so a cat-free home is recommended.   Dakota is still working on a few puppy manners like jumping and leash skills, but with a little guidance he will thrive. In return, he’ll give you endless loyalty, cuddles, and lots of love.   Because of his size and energy level, Dakota would do best in a home with no children under 10.   Dakota is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped — all he’s missing is a family to call his own. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   Ready to meet Dakota? Story
I am looking to re-home by boy, Cooper. He is a pure bred Great Pyrenees and I have had him for 9 years. Unfortunately, he doesn't do well around children and I am having a baby in a few weeks. He has lived around cats his entire life and is good with other dogs too (he prefers females over males - especially intact males). He does have food aggression at times and needs to be separated when feeding or giving bones. He doesn't have experience working a farm, but his favorite past time is patrolling the perimeter of the backyard to ward off raccoons and such. He knows basic commands such as sit, shake, and lay but doesn't have great recall skills as typical with the breed. Ideally, we would love to rehome him to a farm or somewhere that needs a guardian dog on a large property. He is a large and beautiful male weighing around 110-115 and even though he is 9 he still moves around great. He is very playful and loves chasing squirrels or playing with fluffy toys.
