Story
*Hospice family needed.* Meet Tucker John! 12-year-old Tucker John, our sweet senior from Santa Barbara County Animal Services, is looking for a very special someone to give him the loving final chapter he deserves. He is has stage 2 kidney disease and a mass in his lung. He needs daily oral meds and subcutaneous fluids, but don't worry-we'll show you how it's done! Tucker is a gem! He fantastic with kids, cats, and dogs of all sizes. He still has lots of energy and enjoys going for walks and hikes. He is a perfect co-pilot in the car and has such great manners that you can take him anywhere and everywhere! Tucker loves lounging on a cozy bed close to his person and is a great work from home buddy. He sleeps through the night on a bed on the floor. Tucker currently lives in a Foster home where thankfully, he is thriving! His Foster Mom reports: "Tucker is a super active, happy guy. He is always calm and sweet with everyone he meets. Because of this, he gets lots of outings to restaurants and the beach! Tucker loves being with his person! He is the sweetest shadow dog. He really enjoys a walk and has great stamina. He's very calm in the house. Tucker is perfect with all dogs he meets. He'll occasionally bark at the cats, but that's the most he'll do. Never anything aggressive. Tucker gets fluids daily and takes them like a champ! He loves getting some treats during fluids to make it fun. Tucker's perfect family definitely includes a man. He is very attached to the men in his life!" Be sure to watch the videos of Tucker acting very un-hospice-like and running around the yard at his foster home! If you would to give this most deserving boy the gift of being his family, please email adopt@frostedfacesfoundation.org.

Story
This girl is perfection. We don’t even know what else to call her. She is mellow and easy at events, loves people, kids, food, happy to just go with the flow with whatever we are doing that day. Easy. At the kennels she lets out her wild side tossing toys and keeping her self-entertained. At the groomers with one of our volunteers she is again, easy. Sits patiently waits her turn with a dog friend under a grooming table. Loves to be pampered and told how pretty she is. So, you are probably wondering why we still have her? Well, she is almost fully blind and only sees shadows. As a survivor of Distemper, we are thrilled that that’s the only after effects (some dogs can’t walk straight, or have permanent neurological deficiencies), she just can’t see. She loves other dogs, loves treats, loves toys and is completely content sitting in the sun letting everyone walk up and pet her wherever she goes. ##1783011##

Story
I can't say enough good things about Buddy.  I wish I could keep him.  This poor boy was dumped off the side of a desolite highway in the mountains in the early morning hours along with his dog house.  A friend found him hiding in the bushes and brought him to our rescue.  When I first saw him, I thought "oh my, he's going to eat my dogs"...turns out that Buddy is one of the most sweetest dogs I've ever rescued.  He loves the other dogs and ESPECIALLY little puppies.  I have a bottle baby that he sleeps next to making sure no other dogs bother him.  He cleans him and loves on him.  I'm attaching a video of him along with two other little puppies we have.  Buddy is housetrained, crate trained and extremely obedient.  He also loves to cuddle next to me at night.  Buddy is now neutered, fully vaccinated (rabies included), received a dental and is microchipped.  Buddy's adoption fee is $450.  To fill out an application for Buddy, please visit www.greendogfoundation.org or for more information, please email us at greendogfoundation@gmail.comOctober 2, 2024, 10:12 pm
