Story
We adopted Muffin from her previous owner, who couldn't keep her in an apartment due to her barking and noise complaints. We brought her home at 12 weeks old, and she now 9 months old. She's a wonderful, affectionate dog, but we realized that we weren't quite ready for a medium-sized, high-energy pup. She gets excited and sometimes jumps on our toddlers, which has led to a few accidental scratches& which at not her fault, but our little ones are just too young for her energy level. Muffin would thrive with an active family that can give her plenty of exercise and attention. She gets along with our 5-year-old Chiweenie, but their play styles dont always match & Muffin wants to roughhouse, while our older, smaller dog prefers a quieter life. She's playful and sometimes nibbles, so she may do best in a home with another energetic dog or even on a farm, where she can be part of a pack. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her shots.

Story
I can't say enough good things about Buddy.  I wish I could keep him.  This poor boy was dumped off the side of a desolite highway in the mountains in the early morning hours along with his dog house.  A friend found him hiding in the bushes and brought him to our rescue.  When I first saw him, I thought "oh my, he's going to eat my dogs"...turns out that Buddy is one of the most sweetest dogs I've ever rescued.  He loves the other dogs and ESPECIALLY little puppies.  I have a bottle baby that he sleeps next to making sure no other dogs bother him.  He cleans him and loves on him.  I'm attaching a video of him along with two other little puppies we have.  Buddy is housetrained, crate trained and extremely obedient.  He also loves to cuddle next to me at night.  Buddy is now neutered, fully vaccinated (rabies included), received a dental and is microchipped.  Buddy's adoption fee is $450.  To fill out an application for Buddy, please visit www.greendogfoundation.org or for more information, please email us at greendogfoundation@gmail.comFebruary 2, 2025, 1:49 pm

Story
This girl is perfection. We don’t even know what else to call her. She is mellow and easy at events, loves people, kids, food, happy to just go with the flow with whatever we are doing that day. Easy. At the kennels she lets out her wild side tossing toys and keeping her self-entertained. At the groomers with one of our volunteers she is again, easy. Sits patiently waits her turn with a dog friend under a grooming table. Loves to be pampered and told how pretty she is. So, you are probably wondering why we still have her? Well, she is almost fully blind and only sees shadows. As a survivor of Distemper, we are thrilled that that’s the only after effects (some dogs can’t walk straight, or have permanent neurological deficiencies), she just can’t see. She loves other dogs, loves treats, loves toys and is completely content sitting in the sun letting everyone walk up and pet her wherever she goes. ##1783011##

Story
Meet Dottie PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING, AND DOTTIE’S FOSTER MOM IS THE ONE YOU NEED TO CONTACT. PLEASE DO SO BY PHONE, TEXT, OR EMAIL: brittanymusij@gmail.com, or call or text (925) 784-3786. Dottie is an adorable mix of Great Pyrenees, Staffordshire Terrier, and Pitbull according to her DNA results. She is 11 months old and was born around March of 2024. Found on the side of Hwy 76 last August, she was emaciated and abandoned with no collar or microchip. Fortunately, she was taken in by a Good Samaritan and is now a thriving, happy pup! Her foster has all of her medical records, and these will go with Dottie to her forever home. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. She would thrive with a family that has a yard, and especially with another dog. She behaves very well with other dogs and people and desires company from both. She loves lots of attention and plays well with children. Dottie hasn’t lived with cats but has interacted positively with them. If you would like to meet this sweet girl or have any questions, please contact her foster mom, Brittany: Email brittanymusij@gmail.com or call or text (925) 784-3786. Her foster mom works full-time, so do not be deterred if you don’t hear from her immediately. She will return your call, text, or email as soon as possible.
