Story
Meet Bear! Bear is 4 years old and weighs 25lbs. Bear's former humans said he is a "bernadoodle," which is a Bernese Mountain Dog and Poodle mix. Honestly, we don't know how accurate that is. Bear has fluffy gray fur like a poodle, but is more stout than a poodle. Bear loves to play ball and is great on a leash. He enjoys car rides too. He is good with other dogs, but unknown with cats. Bear looks kind of odd with his coat shaved down but he had matts so we had him totally shaved down. We have included a photo of him with full coat so you can see how he will look when his coat grows out. He did great with the groomer. He loves treats and attention. He likes to be around his person. Bear was surrendered by his family to a high kill shelter because he bit a neighbor kid. The bite did not break the skin nor did it require medical attention. His former owners noted that Bear did not like the wife in the family and was not fond of children in general. Bear has been a good boy with us, but he does have food guarding and will growl and bare teeth if his food bowl is removed. If the bowl is empty, then he doesn't care if it is removed. Bear is not crate trained and becomes very stressed while crated. Bear would do best as an only dog or in a home with submissive dogs who can be fed separately. Bear is housetrained but has not figured out how to use a doggy door yet. We will not adopt Bear to a home with children or where children will be visiting. Story
Timber is a lovable family dog. She is calm but barks at other dogs walking by. She will run away if we don’t have her Invisible Fence collar on. She actually does fine with other dogs but is reactive on a leash or when dogs walk by the house. We are not very good dog trainers, so we think this is more our training than anything else. She loves to snuggle and be with people. She also does fine home alone. She is happy in a crate but she does not need one. She is not currently crated. She will sneak food off the counter if you aren’t paying attention. We are devastated to rehome her, but we are too busy to walk her or properly socialize her. She is 6 years old and very healthy.

Story
Named after a European philosopher, Grigori is a puppy who loves to learn, nap, and eat yummy bones. He was born a therapy dog so he is naturally very calm and can tolerate people poking, cuddling, and smooshing his cute little face. He is the opposite of aggressive and prefers to be anywhere you are! He does not like fireworks, the backseat, or aggressive dogs. He looks amazing in the color yellow, likes his feet wiped after a muddy walk, and will be the best shoulder to cry on if you are ever sad. Grigori might be a goofball, but he is also the sweetest most loyal dog. I cannot take him with me when I move to another apartment and while it breaks my heart I know that Grigori journey is just starting. He has been my best friend, and it is time someone else got to experience the wonder that his Grigori. (At adoption day I will provide you with all his toys, kennel, care tools, etc) ((Not currently neutered, but will be getting neutered before adoption day))

Meet Kelsey! Kelsey is 10 years old but has the energy and playfulness of a puppy! Kelsey LOVES toys and he flips them up in the air, catches them and then shakes them like crazy. He is just so cute! He is about 10lbs and is good with all people, other dogs and cats. Kelsey has a dental cleaning scheduled for October 25th so we are seeking a foster to adopt for darling Kelsey. Kelsey has limited vision due to age, but he gets around no problem. Kelsey is current on all vaccines, neutered, microchipped and his blood panel came back with all normal values.
