Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Aruba - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Looking for a new FBF (furry best friend)? Look no further than Aruba (hey, hey, that's me!) and I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I have a very sweet and playful nature that is very social and I'm now ready to start on this new chapter of my life with lots of hugs, puppy kisses and playtime with my new family!!! I'm around 3 months old and I come in at about 11lbs, which should put me a fantastic medium size when I get myself all growed up. I love playing and am energetic, ready to share in all your adventures from the mundane daily to your weekend exciting!! I'm good with people, other pups and although I haven't met any of those creatures y'all call a cat yet but at my tender age, if introduced properly, I should do fine with them too. I've got a beautiful coat that is super easy in the maintenance department, kind of a wash-n-go type of gal. You do know what that means, don't ya? Yep yep, more time for the spoil me rotten department!! I look like I might be a Bernese Mt dog mix along with anyone's best guess but maybe a Labrador Retriever. I am sooooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness on a family and be that lil heartbeat at your feet, so if you think I'd be a pawsome fit for your home, please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application! It can be found at haydudeequine.org

Story
Meet Poppy! This shy, sweet girl is a 6-year-old, 20lb miniature poodle. She has spent her life in a puppy mill as a breeder dog but it's time to put those days behind her and learn the joys of being a companion dog. Walks and outdoor time are new adventures to Poppy but her personality shines when she is outside in the warm sunshine. Her tail wags continuously as she explores the back yard. She enjoys shorts walks daily and does really well on a leash. She will need a fenced yard or to be on a leash at all times when outside as loud noises do scare her and may cause her to run. Poppy is puppy pad trained but is also doing great at going to the bathroom outside. She does well around her foster family’s dog and cat. She would likely do well in a household with another dog of a gentle nature to show her the ropes and help her feel secure. Poppy is skittish of loud noises and somewhat uncertain of men. Because she scares easily, a quieter household with no small children would be best. Her adopter will need to have some patience with her as it may take a bit to gain her trust. But, once you do, she gives the sweetest little kisses and really just wants to be wherever her person is. She adores her foster sister and pretty much follows her around the house. No doubt Poppy will thrive in a calm household that will continue to give her the love and support she needs and deserves. If you are looking for an easygoing dog that enjoys the outdoors but is also down for a snuggle on the couch, she might be your perfect match! Poppy is currently being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
