Story
Hi there! I’m Leo, a 2.5-month-old Bernedoodle puppy, and I’m as fun and friendly as they come! At just 18 pounds, I may be little, but I have a big personality and tons of love to give. We expect their adult weight to be 55-80 pounds. I’m outgoing, playful, and always ready for a good time. Like any typical puppy, I have lots of energy and a curious spirit. I love running, playing, and making new friends wherever I go. When I’m all tuckered out from playtime, I enjoy cuddling up and soaking in all the love and affection I can get. Speaking of affection, I am a total lover boy. My favorite thing to do is give kisses and shower my people with love. If you think you’re the family for me, don’t wait any longer- apply to adopt me! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Hey there, I’m Buddy, a 101-pound Bernedoodle who thinks he’s a lap dog—seriously, I’ll try my best to fit! At 4 years old, I’ve seen some tough times, but I’ve never let it break my spirit. I love people, other dogs, and I’m curious about cats (not sure if they love me back yet). I ride great in the car, so if you need a road trip buddy, I’m your guy! I know how to sit like a good boy, and I’m house-trained, which means I’m already off to a great start in learning good manners. I do pull a little on the leash at first, but once we get moving, I settle in just fine. Honestly, I’m so eager to explore the world now that I finally have the chance! I’m smart and ready to learn, so with a little guidance, I’ll be the perfect walking companion in no time. My life hasn’t always been easy—I spent my early years stuck inside, then tied up outside until the rescue saved me. When they found me, I was in rough shape, with painful ear infections and bad eyes, but even then, I just wanted love. Now, my eyes are all fixed, and I’m ready to see the world with a forever family by my side. If you’re looking for a big, lovable goofball who will always be by your side (or on your lap), I’m Buddy, and I can’t wait to meet you!
