Story
This is Rocket - he’s a people pleaser who love companionship and attention. He’ll follow us around the house and lay at our feet when we’re home. He’s been through training as a puppy though he needs continual practice and learning. He is a lover who has a silly smiley face. He is very loyal and eager to please. He has a lot of energy and doesn’t know his own size / strength. He thinks he is the size of a lap dog and will love to cuddle up with you. He’s not great with all other dogs or people. Proper introduction is needed as he is very protective of his family / home (he can bite them as he is a protector). He may take time to adjust but is a lover once done so. When on walks, he sometimes bites us while out of excitement / overwhelmed when he sees other dogs / people on the street. We have other male dogs in the house and it is obvious that he is trying to claim dominance. He is a great dog but is in need of an owner that can give him time, training, love and patience.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Happy boy loves toys!Wally is a 7ish year-old, 18 pound Poodle mix. Sweet Wally loves living with other small dogs! He loves the company and gains confidence in their company. This special boy is still working through some medical issues, but he has made great strides in his foster home and has been doing very well - he was even brave enough to get groomed recently! Wally can find meeting new people to be stressful, especially strangers entering his home or strange dogs while he is out and about on leash. He and his foster mom are currently working with a trainer to help Wally navigate these scary situations and a few sessions with the trainer will be provided to his adoptive family to help make his transition smooth. Once you are in his pack? Wally is all smiles and love! If you have a small pack who needs a second or third to make your home complete, please consider sweet Wally and fill out an application to meet this special little boy!
