Story
Introducing Byllye Avery, a petite sepia copper-colored Bengal who is looking for a loving family to call her own. Byllye has a friendly and sweet disposition, and while she may take some time to adjust, her affectionate nature shines through once she feels comfortable.Byllye's past has been challenging; she was abandoned outside and was thankfully rescued by a compassionate couple. As a result, she hasn’t experienced the simple joys of kittenhood, but she is eager to learn what it’s like to be cherished in a safe and loving environment. This charming Bengal is ready to find her place in a home where she can blossom. With a little patience and understanding, Byllye will reward her new family with love and companionship. If you're looking for a sweet cat who has the potential to form a strong bond with her human, Byllye Avery may be the perfect addition to your household. Come meet her and see if you can provide the nurturing home she deserves! Bengals are known for their high energy levels, intelligence, and need for mental stimulation. This means they require more attention and activity than some other cat breeds. If their needs are not met, they may become bored and exhibit unwanted behaviors.  Temperament: Bengals are known for their high energy and playful nature. They are intelligent, curious, and highly active, often demanding a lot of interaction and mental stimulation from their owners. Bengals are also very vocal cats, with a wide range of chirps and meows used to communicate their needs and desires. Activity Level: The Bengal is an extremely active breed. They love to climb, jump, and explore their environment. Their high energy levels mean they are best suited to homes that can provide ample space and resources to accommodate their play and exercise needs. Catios are highly recommended.  Health: Bengals are generally healthy, but like all specialty breeds, they can be prone to specific genetic health issues. Their vigorous nature keeps them fit, but owners should be aware of common conditions that can affect them, such as Bengal Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PK Deficiency). Annual veterinary visits are a must!  Lifespan: Bengals typically enjoy a long and healthy lifespan, usually ranging between 12 - 16 years. With proper care, regular veterinary check-ups, and a healthy environment, Bengals can be lifelong companions. NOTE: An ideal home is someone who understands and has experience with the Bengal breed. Access to a secure catio enclosure would be ideal for most bengals. Our bengal foster home has one and they love spending time in it. Please understand that Bengals are a high energy breed who need lots of space and room to exercise, explore, and get their energy out. For this reason, many apartments do not accommodate that need. Bengals are beautiful, exotic-looking cats and we understand their allure. That said, we look at each cat's needs individually to ensure that their energy level matches their new living environment. Any approved application will include a home visit and veterinary reference.  ##2394332##
