Story
Shaneequa is the sweetest cat ever! She behaves more like a dog- she's incredibly inquisitive, friendly to everyone she meets, and absolutely loves cuddles! Unfortunately, she has been experiencing digestive issues that we have not been able to regulate. We’re unsure if this is due to stress from her changing relationship with her sister, as they no longer get along. To ensure her well-being, Shaneequa needs a loving family who can provide her with the care, patience, and support she deserves. She thrives on affection and would do best in a home where she can be the center of attention, free from the stress of feline conflicts. Her digestive issues are still being assessed, so she’ll need an adopter who is willing to work with a vet to find the right diet and possible treatments to keep her comfortable and healthy. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who will fill your home with love and cuddles, Shaneequa could be the perfect match for you!

Story
I got Sasha when she was a kitten in late 2020. I was in law school at the time, and I was home most of the time. School was online for the first year, and then the second two years I spent lots of time at home studying, etc., so Sasha was used to near constant companionship. After graduating and starting work, I am home less, and she is less happy. She needs more attention than I can realistically give her. She is very sweet and cuddly, and very vocal. She has a tendency (as most cats do) to act out for attention when she does not receive it. Nothing too serious--just some meowing or trying to go somewhere she knows she isn't allowed. However, when she has the proper attention and is not left alone for hours and hours on end, she is as sweet and content as can be. She is quite energetic. She likes to sleep at the foot of the bed or sometimes curled up in the crook of my arm or between my shoulder and neck. She may do well with a young couple--double the attention and love :)

Story
Flash came to us when his owner decided he needed someone to spend more time with him. We are wondering now if he isn't a Marble Bengal mix. He is highly active and an escape artist. He escaped our building and went up the tree with our bird feeders (first picture). He cannot be an outdoor cat but needs an enclosed patio, cat wheel, and/or tall climbers to keep him entertained. He is about 2 and is stunning. He gets along well with other cats and loves to be cuddled on his terms. If he doesn't like something he will growl to let you know but he's really quite gentle. Can you give him the right home with the enrichment he needs? * Our kitties are: Spayed/neutered (or provided a spay/neuter voucher for kittens too small for surgery), combo tested for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids, up-to-date on vaccines (rabies vaccine when age appropriate), treated for parasites, and most have microchips. Tiny kittens go in pairs unless there's a companion animal already in the household. Our adoption fees are low. Most are $150 although some very desirable kitties may be slightly more. For a pair, we reduce the adoption fee slightly. November 6, 2024, 4:36 am

Story
Maui is a very special young cat; a papered, Bengal, brown with paw-print (and heart-shaped) spots. He is lovely, sweet, and affectionate, ready for a home willing to take on an active, high-energy cat. Maui is a breathtaking 2-year-old Bengal with mesmerizing blue eyes and a big personality to match! He was surrendered to the local shelter after struggling to get along with another cat, so we are seeking an experienced Bengal owner who understands the breed’s unique needs and is willing to have him be an "only-child" cat. Bengals are known for their intelligence, high energy, and love for stimulation—they thrive in homes where they can climb, play, and explore. Maui is no exception! He’s vocal, affectionate, and loves attention, but he will need a patient adopter who will provide playtime options and activities for his energy. If you have experience with Bengals and are looking for a stunning, active, and loving companion, Maui could be the perfect match! We know his ideal home is out there, and we can’t wait to find it. Contact us today for this very special cat, as we are sure he will be re-homed quickly.
