Story
Ginny is a 12 year old Bengal purebred. We got her when she was 7 months old. She is a sweet cat. Doesn't like to be picked up, but she will come sit with you on her own. She has a quiet purr, you almost can't even hear it. Ginny has lived with 2 other cats her entire time with us. She doesn't like new cats, but should be able to get used to them. About 5 years ago she started peeing on things (husband's laundry, kid's toys, blankets left on the floor, couches, etc.) We eventually got her on kitty prozac and that has mostly helped resolve the issue. It is a lotion you put in her ear once a day and costs about $70 a month. She also developed inflammatory bowel disease. Putting her on a hydrolyzed protein cat food mostly helps, but she does continue to poop outside the box. Perhaps a less stressful environment would help. Or someone who can afford to continue running additional tests with the vet's office. We love Ginny very much and hope you will too.

Story
I would love to introduce you to little Bella! A gorgeous classic black tabby with fur that will remind you of silk and picturesque green eyes and although we are unable to confirm her parentage, we see Bengal breed characteristics and think beautiful Bella is a Bengal mix. Coming into rescue, Bella was naturally very scared and shy. It’s a completely new world for her to be loved and cared for but slowly she has recognized that being loved is a good thing! This past month Bella has really started to come out of her shell and not only enjoys affection and attention but demands it! Her communication skills are spot on and enjoys a good conversation with you. Pets and brushing are among the things highest on her loves list and while shes not yet an official lap cat, she does like to be close to you. Bella is FIV+ and although FIV is a lifetime diagnosis, she can easily live a long normal life with a few minor adjustments. Cats with FIV must live indoors and can happily live with other indoor, non-aggressive cats. Regular vaccinations, and treatment for fleas, mites, and worms are also important, so a yearly checkup is crucial to this loving girl. She recently had a checkup with our veterinarian and noted no health concerns. We think Bella would do best in a calm quiet home as either an only cat or with another gentle non-aggressive kittyn. Bella is truly an amazing girl with so much to give to a loving family. Bella is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her foster family in West Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Bella please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Ellen at garyreason@gmail.com or 916-743-8324. If you are unable to reach Ellen please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!

Story
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat through our Owner Placement Program. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Cleo is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with her current owner in Ontario. Adoption fee applies. Cleo is a beautiful brown rosetted purebred Bengal with the most gorgeous luminous green eyes imaginable and luxurious fur coat, smooth as silk, soft as velvet. A breathtaking combination to be sure. Bengals are famous for their stunning beauty, powerful athleticism and keen intelligence. Cleo, is a name from Greek mythology relating to glory, celebration and fame. This Cleo lives up to her name: she is glorious, with beauty beyond measure, well mannered, openly friendly with people she meets, and will grace your lap when sitting on a sofa. This lovely girl is welcoming, interactive, conversational and personable. Cleo is a very good girl too! She is not destructive at all, does not scratch furniture; and is great with her litter box. She loves her treats and laying on her cat tree looking out the window. Her current diet consists of Kirkland dry food, churros and Sheba treats. Cleo is healthy and up to date on her vaccines. Her current owner is experiencing health issues and has reached out to us to seek a quiet home for beloved Cleo. She does fine during the day on her own during a regular work schedule. When she hears the garage door open she will be right there waiting to greet you. Cleo loves kids. Ages 11 and up will be considered. She is not a good candidate for teaching kids how to handle cats as this would give her anxiety. She becomes anxious if she is squeezed or forced to do something she is not comfortable with such as being held/carried for long periods of time or being chased. Cleo will eat fabric and plastic if she is feeling anxious, so we need to avoid busy households and hectic environments. She is aggressive towards other cats and needs to be a strictly indoor only pet, with no other four footed companions. We are seeking Bengal breed or other high energy feline breed experienced applicants for Cleo. If you think you are the right adopter for Cleo, we look forward to receiving your application and speaking with you about this spectacular Bengal girl, who will bring lots of affection and joy into your life. Cleo is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her owner in Ontario. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Cleo please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Pam at cheemers@gmail.com or 541-290-8408. If you are unable to reach Pam please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? Story
Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is helping facilitate the adoption of this cat through our Owner Placement Program. We take no responsibility for the health and medical records of this cat. It is the responsibility of the owner and adopter to discuss this. Coco is NOT in a Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue foster home, but residing with my current owner in Pacifica. Adoption fee applies. Meet Coco, a stunning 3-year-old Bengal/Savannah mix with mesmerizing green eyes and sleek brown fur adorned with bold black spots. This 9-pound beauty is long, lean, and full of personality. Coco is a vocal kitty, known for her enthusiastic "yells" that echo through the house as she chats with her humans. While she's not a lap cat, she's incredibly affectionate in her own unique way, always following her people from room to room and showering them with love on her terms. Coco's favorite pastimes include chasing wand toys, pouncing on realistic toy prey, batting at springs, and going wild for laser pointers. She's also an avid bird-watcher, often perched by the window, captivated by the world outside. Water is another fascination—don't be surprised to find her playfully splashing in a dripping faucet or bowl. Harness-trained, Coco enjoys exploring the yard at her own pace, though she's not a fan of walks, preferring to sniff and investigate her own yard. In her home, Coco loves to claim the foot of the bed for her nightly snooze. She's very social and thrives in a lively environment, getting along well with older children who respect her space. However, she prefers to be the only pet in the household, as dogs and other cats aren't her cup of tea. With her vibrant personality, striking looks, and quirky habits, Coco is a one-of-a-kind companion who brings joy and energy to every day. Coco is spayed, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet food, and eats dry food. She currently lives with her owner in Pacifica. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.
