Story
Hello, My name is Mika! Unfortunately I was dumped in front of the rescue in a small cage with only a little bit of food. I am three years old and I am so scared and sad to be left in such an awful way. I need time to adjust and come out of my shell, but with some extra TLC I will make the perfect companion. I am a feisty girl and I will need someone who can understand my situation and provide me with plenty of time and love to help me begin trusting again! If you are interested in adopting me please feel free to give us a call or visit our rescue between 11am-3pm. If you are interested in adopting Mika, please go to www.rockinrescue.org, fill out an application and email it over along with some pictures of your home to rescue@agwc501.org. After application has been reviewed, we will be in touch to set up a meet and greet. For any questions, feel free to schedule a free phone consultation with one of our adoption coordinators: https://calendly.com/rockinrescue/call The application process also includes a Home Check in person. *** WE ONLY DO LOCAL ADOPTIONS IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA.

Story
Say hello to Maple, a delightful kitten who was rescued as a tiny baby along with her siblings. Now almost 6 months old, Maple is the last of her litter still waiting for her forever home. And trust us, she’s worth the wait! Maple has an incredibly bouncy, outgoing personality and is fully comfortable around both dogs and other cats. She’s a social butterfly who loves to play, explore, and interact with everyone—once she’s had a little time to settle in. Though she may be a bit shy at first, Maple is an extroverted kitty who quickly comes out of her shell when she feels safe and comfortable. This little girl is all about doing things on her terms. While she may not be the kind of kitty to cuddle 24/7, when she’s in the mood, she’ll come to you and curl up for hours—especially during your Netflix binge sessions. The best part? Her cute, chirpy meows! Whether she’s asking for a snack or searching for her laser toy, Maple’s adorable, loud chirps will definitely get your attention. Playtime, snacks, and a good cuddle on her own schedule—if this sounds like the kind of fun and loving companion you need, Maple might be your perfect match. She’s ready to bring joy, personality, and a little bit of sass into your home! To schedule a meet and greet, please submit our quick adoption application found here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/KNC/Cat

Story
Finn is the sweetest boy ever and at 3 he is still a playful kitten. He is very smart, loving, and funny. He loves his tunnels, zoomies, watching the birds out the window, cuddling at night, spring toys, wands and being dragged around on his blanket. He actually taught himself to use the toilet for #1 and litterbox for #2. He loves to play so I can see him in either a home with kids or one where he has some sort stimulation sometimes. He would like to spend day either in a safe outdoor or a large indoor area . He might get along with a mid-large size friendly or cat-neutral dog. I hate to rehome him but my house is too small and my older sick cat cannot play with him anymore. I hope to find him a home where he is just as happy. He is very special.

Story
Albert is a sweet baby boy who was left on the streets of LA with his fellow brothers and sisters. I took him in and he was a sweet heart. He LOVES to cuddle and is very affectionate and loved attention. He is one year old and up to date on vaccines. I sadly have a new job where I am barely at home and travel a lot so I don’t have the time and space to give him the love he needs

Good with kids, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Zahdh is a fun-loving adventurous 7yo cat who enjoys long walks outdoors on a leash or unleashed (with a bit of training and patience!). He has been living indoors for the past few years since one of his brothers was hit by a car several years ago, but still has a distinct drive for the outdoors. He still does well indoors, sleeping/relaxing most of the day with bursts of playful energy, chasing his siblings, running through tubes, and climbing cat trees. He is a very snuggly creature who will sleep in bed with you throughout the night. He has been living with a sibling cat, Uul, for the last 4 years and is very friendly toward him - I am looking to rehome Uul as well, but they do not necessarily need to go to the same home. The best fit for Zahdh would be someone who can shower him with love and attention and take him outdoors frequently via (un)leashed walks in the neighborhood, some independent indoor/outdoor privileges (e.g. cat door), or on camping trips.
