Meet Josette! She’s a 5-year-old spayed female German Shepherd/Belgian Shepherd mix weighing 47 lbs. She arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 3/27 as a stray and is beautiful inside and out. From the moment we met, she greeted me with a smile and lots of tail wags. She loves hugs and kisses, and happily gives them back. Josette has a happy-go-lucky personality, enjoys rolling in the grass, and adores tummy rubs. She seems well cared for, walks nicely on a leash, takes treats gently, knows the sit command, and may be housetrained. Gentle and loving, she’d make the perfect addition to a family. When walking past barking dogs, she showed no interest, though we recommend a dog test if you have another pup at home. She dreams of a secure yard to play in before coming inside for family time. Her smiling face is sure to brighten the days of anyone lucky enough to bring this sweet girl into their home and heart.

Max has been an amazing passer of our family. Our kids have grown with him and he is so loving. They have jumped on him and tackled him. Yet he has been all love and playful. He is house trained and does sometimes get happy pee when excited. He lives inside and stays in my son’s room. We are moving so we want to find him a great home.
