Story
Meet Hope – A True Survivor with a Heart of Gold Hope’s journey hasn’t been easy, but her spirit shines brighter than ever! Hit by a car and left for dead, this sweet girl’s story could’ve ended there, but with a little luck and a lot of love, she’s transformed into an incredible puppy full of life and joy. To make her even more special, Hope underwent surgery to fix her hip with an FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy). This hasn’t slowed her down one bit—she runs, jumps, and chases bunnies with all the enthusiasm in the world! To keep her strong and healthy, she will need to take glucosamine with chondroitin, a simple addition to her routine. Hope is incredibly smart—she knows her name and even answers to her nickname, Lil’ Girl. She’s well-behaved, and if she gets into mischief, a gentle “No ma’am” is all it takes for her to stop what she’s doing. She also has the cutest breakfast and dinner routine! Hope absolutely loves her Puppy Pro Plan meals, especially when they’re topped with two baby carrots—her favorite crunchy treat. She will give you that look if they are not in the bowl, Now, Hope loves snuggling up with her favorite humans and is fully potty trained, uses a doggie door, loads into her crate like a pro, walks wonderfully on a leash, and even enjoys learning new tricks with clicker training! Hope plays well with other dogs once she feels comfortable and may hide behind your legs if something scares her—but it’s just her way of seeking safety in her trusted person. At bedtime, she’s happy on her own bed but wouldn’t say no to a cozy night snuggled next to you. (She’s still figuring out how to jump off the bed, though!) Her favorite things? A stuffed squirrel, elk antlers, racket balls, and YOU. Hope’s playful and loving nature will make her the perfect companion for someone who can give her the safety and affection she craves. She tilts her head when you talk to her like she understands you, and she also speaks to you like you understand her. Hope is ready for her forever home—a place where she’ll be cherished for the amazing pup she’s become. Could that be with you? Apply today to meet Hope and give this survivor her happily ever after! Well-socialized and eager to learn, Nia is looking for a family that can provide her with plenty of love, attention, and support as she grows and learns new things. She will thrive in a home where she can continue to explore, play, and develop her training. Currently in a foster home in Colorado, Nia is excited to find her forever family. Meet Thomas, an adorable German Shepherd mix puppy from the Thomas the Train litter! Born on November 13, 2024, Thomas and his six siblings were rescued as bottle babies from a shelter in Texas after being found dumped in a box on train tracks. Just like the train he's named after, Thomas is full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm. He’s always ready to chug along and explore new sights, sounds, and toys, enjoying every adventure that comes his way. Thomas is a playful and spirited pup who loves engaging with his siblings, but his favorite thing is curling up in a big pile with them after a fun-filled day of play. This snugglebug is also all about affection, seeking attention and cuddles from his humans whenever he can. Well-socialized and friendly, Thomas is looking for a family that can offer him the love, training, and support he needs as he grows into a well-behaved adult dog.
