Story
Alfalfa's was found as a stray in Stephenville and never reclaimed. Alfalfa is a loyal companion who wants to be right next to you most of the time. While he may get a little excited on the leash initially and pull you around, he settles down quickly and walks well with some slack on the leash. Alfalfa will only stay in a heavy-duty crate for extended periods and will escape chain link fencing if left outside by himself. He's not fond of other dogs and prefers to be the only pet in the home, and he won't do well with cats. He does not seem to know English and won't respond to any commands but he has started responding to his name. As a Belgian Malinois, Alfalfa requires experienced owners familiar with the breed's high maintenance needs. Alfalfa is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm-negative and on prevention.

Story
Zeus was brought in to us due to housing issues. Zeus is a very sweet and friendly boy who loves to bark in his kennel, but is actually a quiet house guest when in a home. He will sometimes bark at someone knocking or at other dogs. He loves playing fetch, but a nice walk usually tuckers him out enough to want to cuddle on the couch all day. He does well in a crate but does have accidents if in them too long. A previous foster stated he was potty trained and did well being left loose in the house by himself. He walks well on a leash unless he gets too excited. He loves car rides. He does good while passing other dogs however he gets territorial once in a home. He would do best in a home being the only pet. He is not good with cats. He has had some problems with his back leg due to a pinched nerve. Zeus does not do well for baths and does not like his feet being touched. Zeus came in with with some reaction to fleas, so keeping up with flea and tick prevention is a must. Zeus is fully vaccinated, de-wormed, microchipped, neutered, and heart worm negative and on prevention. Here are some of the quirks his most recent foster noted: while he is a gassy boy himself, he does not understand when you fart and will play bark/growl at you. He loves used dryer sheets and will rub himself all over them when they're on the ground. He is poop shy while on a leash. He follows you around the house and is like your little shadow. He's scared of popcorn on the ground and will play with it. Peanut butter is his favorite food.
