Story
Luci takes sweet to a whole new level! ❤ She may be a little shy, but boy, give her a little sign and she will be in your space leaning in for pets and kisses so fast! Talk about a demure lady. You don't hear her bark. Even when other dogs are making a fool of themselves. She sits quietly and observes. She is probably thinking to herself 'what idiots'. Not a whine, not a movement, nothing. Just quietly watching. Now, if she recognizes the dog(s) as friends of hers, she will get excited. A little whimper here and there, then the slight body movement as if letting you know that she wants to go over to say hi. If you oblige, she hops, and half runs towards her friends. It is cute! When they are together, she does a little silly dance as if to say, 'I am so happy to see you!'. When on a walk, Luci is quite interested in picking up smells and scents from her surroundings. She sometimes walks with her nose to the ground. If you decide to take a break, she will break with you. NO fuss. She sits and watches the world go by with you. Just quietly observing others, and all around her. No bark, no whine. Pure contentment. Luci walks wonderfully by the way. No pulling. Luci doesn't like to poop while on a leash. If you let her loose in the yard, she goes almost right away 🤷♀️Did someone say ball? Luci loves tennis balls! She likes to carry one in her mouth. She doesn't really play fetch with it, but she does like to carry one around. Sometimes, she will lay down and chew on it. Whatever Luci seems to be doing at any time, you call her name, and she will always come to you. She is particularly happy and giddy when you stretch your arms and call her name excitedly. She runs directly into your arms, ready for some serious hugs!
Luci is about 1.5 years old, a 60lb German Shepherd. She is looking for a relatively quiet home where she can hang out with you, be your loyal companion, go places together, be each other's world. If there is a resident dog, perfect! They can be besties :)
