Story
Dior is the equivalent of a Hollywood starlet that needs to get out of the city to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the ranch life. She is an independent highly motivated lady who needs a job! She needs space to run, explore, play, and if there's snow in the winter- even better! Outside is a must for daily exercise regime (she's not a fan of indoor gyms- too many paparazzi). Dior is an intelligent, highly active Belgian Malinois and needs an experienced dog owner (experience with the breed is a plus!). She is willing to learn and already knows basic commands. Her favorite thing to do is zoom around the play yard and she's content to play on her own. She needs some work on her leash skills and basic manners, but she is very responsive to treats! Due to being a young, high-energy dog, we feel that an adult home (or at least kids 13+) will be ideal for her. She has little experience with other dogs and is a little anxious here in the shelter, so she her social circle is a little small right now. She may do best as an only pet due to her forward nature but if you do have another dog, be sure to bring them with you before taking her home. She does display some breed tendencies of a prey drive, so small animals and cats may not be the best house companions for her. Dior is a wonderful dog with bright potential and willingness to prove herself. If you're just as willing to put in the extra work to help her thrive, she will make it worthwhile and be your best friend.
