Story
We adopted Dakota around 3 years ago. She has always been lively but eager to please. She has great training and knows sit, down, place, heel, and break very well. She has ecollar training from an off leash trainer. She can be the sweetest, most loving girl when she has the right attention. She is aggressive toward other dogs. She has high anxiety and needs consistent training 15-30mins daily to relieve stress and make her feel valued in the home. As our children are becoming toddlers, we have some fears over her anxiety level with them as she will sometimes growl move away hurriedly and nervous and we can’t give her the attention she deserves. She is a wonderfully loving dog but needs a home that can dedicate time and energy to her without kids or other pets. It breaks our heart to lose her but we feel like it’s best for her and our children. She would do great with a veteran or service member who thrives in a structured environment like she does so they could be loyal best friends.

Story
2 year old un-neutered Malinois male. He's not a high drive/working line Mal but will need a handler that can work him out. Super smart, affectionate, obedient, does well w/scent detection. He's great w/his circle of ppl but has some reactivity with strange ppl/dogs & will need more socialization.

Story
Katanya went on an ExPAWdition! Let`s read all about it:`Katanya - ExpawditionHopped right into car, but because she is an 85 lb nervous Nelly she wants to be in the front so I had to tether her in the back. She was spooked by large trucks going by and anything noisy, so I kept the car calm as we headed for a long walk at Noland. For such a nervous girl she was surprisingly pretty good on the leash! She obvi needs leash training but she doesn’t go nuts…she’s not interested in squirrels which makes it easier! It didn’t seem like she’d been in water before because she timidly took 3 small steps then just kept on walking until she just stood in it, wagging her tail. I think she’d make someone a super fun waterdog as she smiled and hopped about happily when she got out.At first she was jumpy and scared with people who went by, but with positive reinforcement halfway through she would move aside and sit calmly until they passed. She was definitely curious and wanted to say hi.Whenever she got nervous in general I gave her positive corrections and she was very responsive. I think she’s very smart and could train easily. When we passed playing laughing little kids she perked right up, wagging her tail. After 5 miles she was much more settled so I let her poke her nose out the window on the drive back which she loved, enjoying the wind in her nose and all the smells. She needs someone who can help build her confidence and offer a safe somewhat calm/quiet environment while she learns she can just be a big goofy happy girl. I’d say no fireworks and construction stuff. Don’t think she’s house trained but probably good with other dogs, maybe cats too because she couldn’t care less about squirrels.`Hello, I`m Katanya. I may be a little shy at first, but once I get to know you, I promise to be the most loyal friend you`ve ever had. I`m a gentle soul, mellow and independent. I love exploring new things, my curiosity knows no bounds. I`m also smart, so teaching me new tricks will be a fun adventure for both of us. Yes, I might be a bit nervous, but with your love and patience, I`ll learn to trust again. I can`t wait to meet your whole family, I promise to be sweet to everyone (I am not too sure how I will feel about active kiddos... I find them pretty overwhelming). I`m not just looking for a home, I`m looking for a family who`ll love me for who I am. Adopt me and let`s create beautiful memories together.
