Copper is a loving loyal companion with some issues that need to be worked through. He is a decently trained dog that we are fostering after rescuing him from a bad situation. We think the previous handler was not experienced, possibly abusive, and neglected to socialize him. Copper is receptive to treats and toys. He has a mild temperament around the house, but is easily excited by passing dogs and people. I think he could be a great service/working dog with the right handler, but they would need to work through his issue with fear-based aggression towards people and other dogs. He has been muzzle trained. He has tried to bite a trainer while he was with his previous owner, but I do not have the details on what exactly happened. Experienced dog handlers only please. Copper will not do well around children and cats until he is more socialized. He knows basic commands and will come when he is called in the yard. He loves playing with balls, tugs, and will bring toys back when thrown.

You have to know how much Sable loves people and affection! Sable is a people-lover through and through, always seeking attention and affection from those around her. Sable is a people’s dog and potentially even a family dog. She is so patient and gentle with kids. In her eyes, any affection is good affection. She was with kids as young as 4 years old to 14 years old and was a gentle queen letting them hug on her, brush her, dress her up, etc. I’m sure she would have let them paint her nails too if it led to that. So if that video didn’t seal the deal, let me tell you a little bit more about Sable and why you should adopt her. You already know she’s great with kids and is so gentle with them but she is also incredibly smart and savvy! She is the type of dog that you could teach any trick and she would get the gold star buzzer from the America’s Got Talent judges. She’s that smart!! So if you love training and teaching your new dog some cool tricks, you need to adopt Sable. It would also be in her best interest for her adopter to have a general knowledge and understanding about her suspected breed. We believe Sable is a Belgian Malinois mix approximately 5 years old and currently weighs 55lbs and is full grown. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Sable is also potty and crate trained and can go at least 14 hours overnight without any accidents nor do you hear a peep out of her! She truly is a lady. Sable loves to explore and she’s the best companion to take on adventures and to take for walks. She is gentle on a leash, only pulling every so often when she gets excited about something but responds so beautifully to corrections. You’ll catch her checking in with you from time to time on her walks as well. Sable is also a lady when she passes by other dogs when she is out and about. A quick hello and she’s off exploring the next sniff spot. She has a perfectly balanced energy where she can join you for hikes, adventures, long walk or even a run and then after will be the most relaxed girly at home snuggling on the couch with you watching tv or laying by your feet chewing on a toy. She’s got the whole package! She even loves to go socialize at events! So if you’re a person that wants to be able to take your pup to the coffee shop, pickle ball, or even a sports grill/restaurant to watch Sunday football or meet with some friends. She is the perfect date. Sable is dog friendly and does great when she is around other mellow dogs that she meets. She has been in many play groups but isn’t too interested in playing with other dogs. She’d much rather be loving on her person or learning a new trick. Which is why we believe she would be best as your only furry companion in the home including cats. Sable would also love a home that has a backyard where she can romp around when she pleases, soak up the sun on a relaxing day, and to hangout with her new family. Meet Gracie, a 3-year-old German Shepherd who is the perfect mix of affection, playfulness, and devotion. She's an overall confident and happy dog who wants to share her love with you. Gracie loves being outside, going for walks and she LOVES to play. A fenced yard and rousing game of fetch brings her great joy - she'll drop her ball at your feet and gaze at you with those soulful eyes while patiently waiting for you to take your turn. Don't let his name fool you, Bunnie is actually a dog ---- a 6-year-old German Shepherd Dog to be precise! True to his adorable namesake, he does bound around the yard like a puppy when he's happy. Bunny is 85 pounds of gentleness, a good boy who loves attention and affection, and is equally playful and easy going. True to his German Shepherd nature, he is protective over his people/person, and will require additional training to help him expand his social circle. Bunny is crate trained and house trained, gets along well with dogs around his size, and is best suited for a home with older children. Cats are unknown.
