Meet Kristin!Kristin is an incredibly sweet and timid 6 month old girl, radiating warmth and affection in everything she does. Currently, she is making excellent progress with her training, displaying a remarkable ability to pick up on new commands and master them quickly. Kristin`s intelligence shines through as she has already mastered the commands `sit` and `stay,` if only for a few seconds. She has mastered ringing the potty bells and using the doggie door that has just been installed. Kristin`s eagerness to learn is so remarkable for a puppy so young. It`s impressive to note that she has adapted so well—she can hold it overnight and during the day, even with her foster mom being away for up to eight hours at a time.Beyond her training, Kristin is an observant little companion who loves to be by your side while you go about your daily activities. Whether it’s playing fetch in the yard or looking after the kiddos as they run around, she revels in those moments of joy and playfulness, even if she sometimes forgets her manners and jumps up in excitement like many young puppies do. With that being said, if the kiddos start to get into mischief, she is sure to alert you immediately with her bark. When the day winds down, Kristin finds comfort in simply lounging on the couch, soaking up affection and companionship. Alfalfa's was found as a stray in Stephenville and never reclaimed. Alfalfa is a loyal companion who wants to be right next to you most of the time. While he may get a little excited on the leash initially and pull you around, he settles down quickly and walks well with some slack on the leash. Alfalfa will only stay in a heavy-duty crate for extended periods and will escape chain link fencing if left outside by himself. He's not fond of other dogs through the fence and prefers to be the only pet in the home, and he won't do well with cats. He does not seem to know English and won't respond to any commands but he has started responding to his name. As a Belgian Malinois, Alfalfa requires experienced owners familiar with the breed's high maintenance needs. Alfalfa is neutered, vaccinated with DHPP and Bordetella, microchipped, heartworm-negative and on prevention. Alfalfa is due for a rabies vaccination.
