Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Lauren is in a neighboring rescue that is having a family emergency. If you are interested in adopting her, we will bring her into Hay Dude to complete the adoption. Lauren - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hello hello to everyone out there. Let me introduce myself. My name is Lauren and I'm a happy sweetheart that is wanting a home, a family...one to call my very own. I'm around 2 years and 45lbs. I'm a well balanced social gal that does well with people and also with the other foster pups here. Although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any of those strange creatures y'all call a cat. With my breed's prey drive I might do better in a home without any. I'm active, playful and ready to explore...everywhere! I will need both mental and physical stimulation every single day to help keep me a healthy happy girl and keep my shenanigans to a minimum. BUT in return you'll have a most affectionate loyal friend and family member!! I'm already house trained so that lets us get right to the fun stuff!! I have tons of love ready to be unleashed on my family! AND I'm big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet. My oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunningly gorgeous good looks, to make me a great family addition, I just need the family...could it be YOUR family? If we could be that perfect fit please fill out my adoption application found at haydudeequine.org

Story
Everyone say hello to Nico! Many of you may recognize this cutie. After being at BAHS for over 600 days, he was adopted out last May. Unfortunately, Nico was recently brought back to our shelter due to absolutely no fault of his own. He was very loved in his previous home, but had to part ways with his owner because of unforeseeable living arrangements. We are determined to help Nico find his forever home ASAP so that he doesn’t have to spend as much time in the shelter as he did previously. Our hearts break to see him back here sad and confused. Nico would make an excellent companion and will thrive in a home that is busy with a family ready to take him on plenty of adventures. He is high energy and will do best with an active family! He loves to play with toys, chase a ball around, and lean into you for affection once he’s done playing! Nico can be picky about the dogs he likes, but we have seen him do well with female dogs. This fun loving boy deserves the very best home! We are hopeful that he will find his forever home soon! Nico is a Shepherd mix, weighs 66 pounds, and was born on 3/16/2020. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Nico must be an indoor dog, meaning he sleeps in the home setting and does not live outside. If you are interested in adopting Nico, please email bahshelter@yahoo.com. If there are other dogs in your home, we require a meet and greet. Meet and greets can schedule via email at bahshelter@yahoo.com. All of the current pets in your home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.Thank you!

Story
Meet our sweet girl Sheila! You’ve never met a dog who just wants to be loved more than Sheila. She has mastered the sad puppy dog eyes, and is great at convincing you to give her some belly rubs.If you’ve been following our page for a few years, you may recognize this gorgeous girl. Sweet Sheila has been through a lot in her short life already. She originally came to us after being neglected and living outside, being picked on by other dogs just for trying to eat her food. After being in the shelter for a long while, she was finally adopted out. She lived with what we all thought was her forever family for 3 years, when they suddenly showed up a couple weeks ago and dumped her at our gate. Heartbroken and confused as to why she’s back, Sheila wants nothing more than to find her TRUE forever home. With a sensitive nature, Sheila will thrive with someone who is patient and will give her plenty of time to adjust and open up. She is picky about the dogs she likes, and will need to do a meet and greet if you have other dogs in the home. Even after everything she’s been through, she is still one of the most loving dogs you will meet. Please share her post and spread the word about Sheila ?? Sheila is a German Shepherd, weighs 73 pounds, and was born on 5/26/2019. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Sheila must be an indoor dog, meaning she sleeps in the home setting and does not live outside. If you are interested in adopting Sheila, please email bahshelter@yahoo.com. If there are other dogs in your home, we require a meet and greet. Meet and greets can schedule via email at bahshelter@yahoo.com. All of the current pets in your home must be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations. Thank you!

Story
This cutie is Charlie! After being found as a stray, you can tell Charlie is so happy to be taken care of now. He can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly. Once you give him some treats and show him some love, he opens up and his true affectionate personality shines! From what we have observed so far, Charlie seems to be good with other dogs. The shelter setting is scary for this sweet boy and he desperately needs to find his forever home ?? Charlie deserves to be curled up in a loving home with his people! Charlie is a Shepherd mix, weighs 53 pounds, and was born on 4/1/2020. Before adoption, he will be neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Charlie must be an indoor dog, meaning he sleeps in the home setting and does not live outside. If you are interested in adopting Charlie, please email bahshelter@yahoo.com. If there are other dogs in your home, we require a meet and greet. Meet and greets can schedule via email at bahshelter@yahoo.com.
