Small female intact Malinois, she is friendly, not a dog suited for protection, detection, or SAR or service work. She may be suited for barn hunt, Rally, Disc dog. Has AKC papers. She is zanny and has a soft temperament. She is a loving dog and has been good with small and large dogs. Never been around cats. Friendly with children but is a Malinois so she may knock small children over. Has decent ball and food drive. But again she is not strong. Spins excessively in a crate and has damaged things when left unattened and free. Was originally purchased as a protection dog as a puppy but is a wash out due to her soft nature. She would make a good pet for someone who is active and okay with confinement when not being watched. She has some training, has a solid out (drop it) command. Comes when called, has a hard time settling, and holding down stays.

Holly is full of energy, super sweet, very intelligent, and a little mischievous. Once you win her trust, you’ve got it. But she is still a free spirit. Holly loves to run around. She is constantly on the move and looking for adventure. She needs a home that will allow her several hours of outdoors time a day. Whether that’s long runs/walks or time in a fenced in backyard. If you do not have a fence, that will probably be fine, but she will start testing the limits of how far she can explore. In my experience she always comes back if she does wander. Holly is house trained, but if she doesn’t get out when she wants to go - she will go in the house. And once she’s picked a “spot” that will be where you will always find accidents. She acts like a guard dog - you’ll always know when someone’s at the door. She wants to chase everything. And likes to wrestle and roll in the grass. If she feels cornered or overwhelmed she will act out/defensively.

She's currently working with multiple trainers to learn that humans are not chew toys, and sometimes she still gets a little too enthusiastic with her "love nips" (read: demand/attention bites). They don't break skin, but they CAN hurt and might leave your favorite shirt with some battle scars. She's making progress, but she needs someone committed to continuing her training journey. She's Got Opinions About Moving Objects Cars? MUST CHASE. Bicycles? ENEMY DETECTED. LeeLee has a strong prey drive (hello, Malinois genes!) and will lunge at passing vehicles and cyclists.
