Story
Her name is Desna she listens to the name Desna. She is a very smart dog waits for her food is crate trained potty trained very food motivated. Very loveable and loves giving hugs and having her face on your face. However she is very high anxiety and a little scared of people once she gets used to you she is fine. She has very bad separation anxiety she has always been that way and screams anytime you leave the house. She is very skinny but eats a ton. We feed with slow feeder. She drinks like she is never going to drink water again and then throws it up. She is very energetic loves running and playing loves herding my cats. She is all around a very good dog we just don’t have the facilities to care for her like she needs.

Story
Meet Gidget and Gemini! These adorable 6-month-old Belgian Malinois/Terrier mix sisters are still searching for their forever homes! They came to HART in August with their brothers, Gatsby and Gideon, who have already found loving families. Now, it's Gidget and Gemini's turn! Belgian Malinois are known for their energy, loyalty, and intelligence—just like German Shepherds. These girls need an active home where they can thrive and burn off their energy. The kennel environment isn't ideal for them, and they’re starting to feel the stress of confinement. Imagine spending your days behind a kennel door, feeling overwhelmed by unfamiliar sounds and smells. That’s what Gidget and Gemini are going through. Despite the love from our staff and volunteers, nothing beats the warmth and stability of a real home. To help them out, the girls are now at K9 Solutions in Grantsville, MD for some expert training! With three weeks of training and socialization, these sweet girls will be even more ready to join a loving family, and they are currently available for adoption. Plus, Scott Holliday, from K9 Solutions, is offering three free training sessions to their adopters! If you’re looking to add joy, love, and a whole lot of fun to your life, consider adopting Gidget or Gemini. They deserve a second chance! Please Note:  You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption. All our dogs/puppies are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, Bordetella, and distemper/parvo, given flea medication, heartworm tested, and given a microchip before going to their new home. ##2146024##

Story
Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. If you're looking for a smart, active, and affectionate companion, Ranger is the perfect match. Give him the love and care he deserves, and he'll reward you with loyalty and companionship like no other. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Mascha thrives on being close to her people, but like all Malinois, she also requires plenty of mental stimulation to keep her sharp and happy. Whether it's working on new commands, puzzles, or engaging activities, Mascha needs challenges to keep her mind engaged. Her tender spirit, loyalty, and need for mental engagement make her a unique and cherished companion, always eager to learn and love. $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Adoption Fee (includes transport to your area) $50 fuel surcharge

Story
Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Rainier You can probably guess that when I was found and rescued it was raining, it was! However, I was named after the gorgeousness that is Mount Rainier :) I have the highlights and lowlights of the mountain on a sun-cloudy day :) I have a driven personality, not unlike my breed. I am a very medium sized dutchy shepherd and possibly have Belgian Malinois in me as well........and you must KNOW and LOVE the breeds. I make super arm candy, if you will exercise me (and my brain) we will be besties for life! Currently I am living my best life running around green fields of grass with my big radar ears charged and ready to go! You best believe I can hear everything! Better open that bag of treats as quietly as possible or I'll come running in! And I can actually hear you open your laptop to apply to adopt me! HURRY!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
