Story
Meet Ranger, the intelligent and active Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and boundless energy. This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. If you're looking for a smart, active, and affectionate companion, Ranger is the perfect match. Give him the love and care he deserves, and he'll reward you with loyalty and companionship like no other. Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Rainier You can probably guess that when I was found and rescued it was raining, it was! However, I was named after the gorgeousness that is Mount Rainier :) I have the highlights and lowlights of the mountain on a sun-cloudy day :) I have a driven personality, not unlike my breed. I am a very medium sized dutchy shepherd and possibly have Belgian Malinois in me as well........and you must KNOW and LOVE the breeds. I make super arm candy, if you will exercise me (and my brain) we will be besties for life! Currently I am living my best life running around green fields of grass with my big radar ears charged and ready to go! You best believe I can hear everything! Better open that bag of treats as quietly as possible or I'll come running in! And I can actually hear you open your laptop to apply to adopt me! HURRY!! Story
My husband rescued her from an abusive breeder. Our intent was to home her for a short time and find a home. We knew very little about this breed and didn’t realize how neglected they are because if their high maintenance. She’s a sweet girl. We have had her around our 4 kids (including an infant) and she’s never been aggressive. She’s just far too active for us to have her out around the baby. With some good training, I think she would make a great dog. I just can’t do it with a baby at home right now and 3 other kiddos needing me.

Story
HI - I'M SCARLET! I'm a lovely, sweet, and very active 8-year-old Belgian Malinois currently in a foster home in Northern Oregon! Previously, per the shelter that housed me, I came from a hoarding situation in California. I'm an affectionate girl, with plenty of energy for walk, hikes and other outings. I will be your best friend and co-pilot, as I love spending time with my people. I do have strong protective and territorial instincts, and will protect you from an intruder. I'm extremely intelligent and I learn quickly at your command. Even though I'm only 55 pounds, I am strong, and need a strong owner. I am easily distracted on a walk, but I'm gentle, too. I do not do well with cats and have a prey drive. Belgian Malinois dogs can have a long lifespan if taken care of properly, so don't let my 8 years scare you. I don't act like an 8-year-old dog at all, and in fact, I'm ready to go for a long hike! I may be younger, too, as my age is a shelter estimate. I'm also a bit of an escape artist, but that's because I'm so smart. So please don't leave me out in the backyard for hours on end as I could figure out a way to get out. I will do fine if left in a utility room - I do not have accidents in there nor am I destructive. All in all I'm a wonderful dog who needs a wonderful, experienced, loving owner. Can you adopt me?

Story
The list goes on and on about all the amazing qualities Miss Sable brings to the table. I don’t think there is enough writing space to list it all out but we’ll try. First things first! You have to know how much Sable loves people and affection! Sable is a people-lover through and through, always seeking attention and affection from those around her. Watch her video and you’ll see exactly what we are talking about!! https://youtu.be/R-chtCDuXtw?si=Z2MDXaHwD0FF21fK Did you see what we mean?! Sable is a people’s dog and potentially even a family dog. She is so patient and gentle with kids. In her eyes, any affection is good affection. She was with kids as young as 4 years old to 14 years old and was a gentle queen letting them hug on her, brush her, dress her up, etc. I’m sure she would have let them paint her nails too if it led to that. So if that video didn’t seal the deal, let me tell you a little bit more about Sable and why you should adopt her. You already know she’s great with kids and is so gentle with them but she is also incredibly smart and savvy! She is the type of dog that you could teach any trick and she would get the gold star buzzer from the America’s Got Talent judges. She’s that smart!! So if you love training and teaching your new dog some cool tricks, you need to adopt Sable. It would also be in her best interest for her adopter to have a general knowledge and understanding about her suspected breed. We believe Sable is a Belgian Malinois mix approximately 5 years old and currently weighs 55lbs and is full grown. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Sable is potty and crate trained and can go at least 14 hours overnight without any accidents nor do you hear a peep out of her! She truly is a lady. Sable loves to explore and she’s the best companion to take on adventures and to take for walks. She is gentle on a leash, only pulling every so often when she gets excited about something but responds so beautifully to corrections. You’ll catch her checking in with you from time to time on her walks as well. Sable is also a lady when she passes by other dogs when she is out and about. A quick hello and she’s off exploring the next sniff spot. She has a perfectly balanced energy where she can join you for hikes, adventures, long walk or even a run. Then after will be the most relaxed girly at home snuggling on the couch with you watching tv or laying by your feet chewing on a toy. She’s got the whole package! She even loves to go socialize at events! So if you’re a person that wants to be able to take your pup to the coffee shop, pickle ball, or even a sports grill/restaurant to watch Sunday football or meet with some friends. She is the perfect date. Sable is dog friendly and does great when she is around other mellow dogs that she meets. She has been in many play groups but isn’t too interested in playing with other dogs. She’d much rather be loving on her person or learning a new trick. Which is why we believe she would be best as your only furry companion in the home including cats. Sable would love a home that has a backyard where she can romp around when she pleases, soak up the sun on a relaxing day, and to hangout with her new family. We are willing to test Miss Sable with anything you need us to in order to ensure she is the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. If you're ready to welcome an outgoing and loving companion into your life, Sable is eager to meet you and show you just how special she is Application link https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/664c1374b87f4b0cd7071a53 Please email jacquelynn@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
Gigi is a beautiful 3-year-old Belgian Malinois with a heart full of love and energy. She’s a sweet lady who thrives on companionship and is happiest when she’s by your side. Whether it's cuddling on the couch or sleeping in bed at night, Gigi is your ultimate attached-at-the-hip friend. Devastatingly, Gigi’s owner unexpectedly passed away Gigi is great with other high-energy dogs, though she can be a bit protective of her food and treats. She might growl a little, but she’s never shown aggression towards other dogs. Jay took her to work every day, and she loved being able to be with him all the time. Gigi has been wonderful with kids as young as 3yo. Gigi is crate-trained, incredibly smart, and eager to please. We do however recommend a home with no cats.
