Story
HI - I'M SCARLET! I'm a lovely, sweet, and very active 8-year-old Belgian Malinois currently in a foster home in Northern Oregon! Previously, per the shelter that housed me, I came from a hoarding situation in California. I'm an affectionate girl, with plenty of energy for walk, hikes and other outings. I will be your best friend and co-pilot, as I love spending time with my people. I do have strong protective and territorial instincts, and will protect you from an intruder. I'm extremely intelligent and I learn quickly at your command. Even though I'm only 55 pounds, I am strong, and need a strong owner. I am easily distracted on a walk, but I'm gentle, too. I do not do well with cats and have a prey drive. Belgian Malinois dogs can have a long lifespan if taken care of properly, so don't let my 8 years scare you. I don't act like an 8-year-old dog at all, and in fact, I'm ready to go for a long hike! I may be younger, too, as my age is a shelter estimate. I'm also a bit of an escape artist, but that's because I'm so smart. So please don't leave me out in the backyard for hours on end as I could figure out a way to get out. I will do fine if left in a utility room - I do not have accidents in there nor am I destructive. All in all I'm a wonderful dog who needs a wonderful, experienced, loving owner. Can you adopt me?

Story
Meet Ricki! He is currently 2 months old, and we think he may be a Husky / Pit Bull mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Ricki's video here: https://youtu.be/a8d3G1Ly2L4?feature=shared Ricki is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. Ricki loves to play and then take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! Ricki is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Ricki's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67af64e78affdee008013b64 Please email katia@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
Belgian Malinois Mix 2 years old Male 63 pounds Kids · 10+ Dogs · Dog selective Cats · No What My Friends Say About Me: Whether it’s zooming around the park or playing fetch until my tail can’t wag anymore, I’m always up for an adventure! There’s nothing better than curling up next to you after a fun-filled day. I promise to shower you with love! I’m eager to learn and would thrive with positive reinforcement training. The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I prefer to be your one and only furry friend, as I’m not really a fan of sharing my home with other dogs. I’m not a fan of cats or small animals, so it’s probably best if we skip them altogether! I’d do best in a home with kids over 10 years old. My adoption fee is $240 and includes neuter, microchip & registration, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
Charli is a dynamic and spirited three-year-old rescue dog with a heart full of potential. With a mind that’s sharp and active, she thrives in an environment that provides both mental stimulation and physical activity. Charli may have some Belgian Malinois in her, which would explain her impressive intelligence and high energy. These breeds are known for their quick learning abilities, work ethic, and boundless enthusiasm—traits that Charli clearly embodies. In just a short period, Charli has mastered a variety of commands and eagerly looks to her handler when asked to perform tasks. She is highly responsive, soaking in new information quickly, but she requires an owner who understands her need for direction. One of Charli’s favorite pastimes is playing fetch in the yard, where she zooms around with uncontainable energy. She also loves attention and affection from her people. She seeks positive rewards. Charli is crate trained, and she happily “kennels” when needed. Charli is new to leash training but picking it up quickly. Charli will do best in a quieter household, ideally without small children, where she can receive the attention, training, and structure she needs to thrive. Her high energy and intelligence are well-suited to a home that can provide consistent leadership, mental challenges, and plenty of physical exercise. Charli seems more content as an only dog, but does enjoy structured play with her more submissive foster brother. Charli wants to please her leader. She will offer unconditional affection, kisses, and loyalty to her people. She would love to cuddle on the couch with you but understands when she needs to lay on her dog bed. While she may take time to adjust and trust her new family, her loving nature and willingness to learn will make her a dedicated and fulfilling companion. If you’re ready for an active, intelligent dog who needs both mental and physical engagement, Charli may be the perfect fit for you.

I'M SCOUT! I'm a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix in need of a foster or forever home. I've been waiting for many months for someone to choose me! I weigh about 64 lbs. and am a handsome boy. I was rescued from a shelter, where I was kenneled with another dog and did great! However, I would likely do best with a submissive dog, possibly a female. I love being petted and I love, love, love food. I would do well with an active person or people who go for walks, hikes and other outings. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
MEET KATIE & GRACE, two beautiful, sweet & loving black German Shepherds! Both of these lovely girls with stunning black coats were rescued from a crowded California shelter, and they are very bonded. Grace & Katie are good with other dogs and lovely with people. Grace, the mama dog, is about 5-6 years old, and Katie is a 2-year-old girl now and growing up! Both girls have also done fairly well around cats but would need to be monitored. Katie weighs about 60-65 lbs, and Grace weighs about 71-75 lbs. They've waited a long time for a home because we are trying to place them together, so if you can open your home to two dogs, please email for an application. They also need a foster! We also offer discounted adoption fees for pairs.

Story
Timber has been in our home for five weeks now and in this time has made great progress in certain areas and continues to improve in others. Timber has shown himself to be a very loyal, intelligent and affectionate companion and just in the last few days has decided he wants to be a LAP DOG! Timber is totally house trained,,,originally ringing chimes at the door when he wanted to go outside. Now he has mastered the doggy door and goes outside whenever he wants. Timber shows a clear understanding of basic behaviors such as `sit`, `high five`, `down` and `stay`. He is very food motivated and with consistency in his training, will be a well-behaved, enjoyable and life-long companion.Timber is a very active pup and requires a lot of exercise. His ideal family would have members who will walk with him several times a day and ideally a leash less but safe field where he could interact and socialize with other dogs,,,this is his favorite thing,,,and ours too,,,as he is able to burn up a lot of energy!Timber is improving his leash walking but again, this is an area that requires consistency. He is also doing a lot better with his separation anxiety,,,he wants nothing more than to be with his human so it is difficult for him when his human has to leave. At the very least, Timber requires a fully fenced yard,,,no apartment life for this boy.Timber is currently interviewing for his new `pack` that will provide him with lots of exercise, patience and love. His love is unconditional and he will reciprocate your love a hundred fold. Timber is almost a year so still a puppy, he is neutered, up to date on shots, Microchipped and ready for his forever family.
