I’m not a fan of cats or small animals, so it’s probably best if we skip them altogether! I’d do best in a home with kids over 10 years old. Meet Ricki! He is currently 2 months old, and we think he may be a Husky / Pit Bull mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Looking for a serious, responsible, loving person to adopt this girl. She is a beautiful, loyal, lovey dog who is great in the home. She gets attached and loves her person. She needs a lot of exercise & attention. She is amazing in the home. She can stay alone in the home for a reasonable amount of time, she is crate trained, treadmill trained, walk trained & knows many commands, and is overall a smart & well mannered dog. She is a Belgian Malinois and a typical one, so those who are not familiar with this breed need to know all about this breed and know for sure that this is the breed for them. Bambi is just over 1 year old. She is a really sweet dog with high energy. She does really good with my small children, however she is very energetic and hurts them on accident so we are having a hard time giving her the attention that she deserves. She will need some leash training but is a quick learner and does well with other dogs

HI - I'M SCARLET! I'm a lovely, sweet, and very active 8-year-old Belgian Malinois currently in a foster home in Northern Oregon! Previously, per the shelter that housed me, I came from a hoarding situation in California. I'm an affectionate girl, with plenty of energy for walk, hikes and other outings. I will be your best friend and co-pilot, as I love spending time with my people. I do have strong protective and territorial instincts, and will protect you from an intruder. I'm extremely intelligent and I learn quickly at your command. Even though I'm only 55 pounds, I am strong, and need a strong owner. I am easily distracted on a walk, but I'm gentle, too. I do not do well with cats and have a prey drive. Belgian Malinois dogs can have a long lifespan if taken care of properly, so don't let my 8 years scare you. I don't act like an 8-year-old dog at all, and in fact, I'm ready to go for a long hike! I may be younger, too, as my age is a shelter estimate. I'm also a bit of an escape artist, but that's because I'm so smart. So please don't leave me out in the backyard for hours on end as I could figure out a way to get out. I will do fine if left in a utility room - I do not have accidents in there nor am I destructive. All in all I'm a wonderful dog who needs a wonderful, experienced, loving owner. Can you adopt me?
