Story
Intake Date: 12 September 2024 -------- Age at intake: 1.5 yrs ----- Breed: Malinois mix ----- Size: 70 lbs ----- Status: pound pull. ----- Compatible with: Dogs with proper intros, children. Haven't cat tested ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none major noted ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Jocko!! He is a really handsome dog. Jocko's time expired in the pound so he came with us to rescue. He is a big guy! He came to rescue with pretty swollen and irritated privates but those seem to be healing (just in time for neuter). Jocko is a little standoffish with other unaltered male dogs at first but he easily corrects and then seems fine. It will help with all of our males are neutered. Jocko is an athlete and deserves an active home that understands his breed needs. He has amazing potential to be a super cool dog with a job! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. Adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is required.
