Story
For the last two years Anya has been living in a home with her family that adopted her. Anya is looking for a stable, committed family that will help her heal her broken heart. Anya loved her family and felt that she was home forever. Anya is super loyal to her family & she will become quickly connected to her new family. Anya is an active girl with a shutoff switch! She enjoys being with her people and settles nicely in her crate. She is very sweet. She is living with older dogs and an older cat. Even though Anya can play hard with other dogs, she respects their wishes for space and entertains herself. Anya is super smart and picks up fast; with the right guidance she will become an awesome companion. She walks wonderfully on the leash, on the left in a heal! If you are looking for a really good agility dog, you found her! If you are looking for a jogging/hiking partner, you found her! If you are looking for a dog to lay at your feet on a cold night, you found her(As long as you took her on a very nice long walk first!). This is a fantastic 4-5 year old girl! All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Our adoption fee includes 30 days of complimentary medical insurance for your new pet. Breed and size is frequently a guess and can not be guaranteed. Our dogs are fostered on a private residence, we do not have a free standing shelter. They live on a farm where they run and play with other dogs, cats, horses, and barnyard fowl. Initial contact with us must be made through e-mail. E-mail ARFofMercer@gmail.com directly for an adoption application or with any questions. Once your adoption application is approved, you will be invited to meet our dogs/puppies.

Story
Baby is a true diamond in the rough. She will need a lot of work and patience - at 11 months old, she has never before been away from the house she was born in and her littermates. The world is terrifying, but she is calm and watchful and takes it all in. Once she has her person to trust, she will be a true Velcro Dog - never leaving your side, the best adventure companion you could ever ask for. She would climb a tree for you - and also jump on the dining room table and eat your sofa if you don't spend the time teaching her manners and giving her a job to keep her engaged. All our dogs/pups are spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They have been dewormed and are current on vaccinations. Her short coat of tan and white is low maintenance, which is perfect for those who prefer easy grooming. Abby's infectious spirit and lovable personality make her the ideal addition to any family! Adopt Abby, and bring home not just a pet, but a loyal friend who will fill your life with joy, laughter, and unconditional love! (ME, 7/10/24) ADOPTION/TRANSPORT FEE: $250 **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption fee: $395 covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip, and an Alabama State Health Certificate. Transport, if needed, is $160. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. Story
Meet Rex!This beautiful and young Belgian Malinois was in training to do patrol work when he was flushed out of the program. Now retired, he`s ready to trade in his badge for a life of comfort and companionship.Rex is an extremely smart dog who thrives on mental and physical stimulation. He loves to problem-solve and figure out new challenges, making him an ideal candidate for active families or individuals who enjoy interactive play. His favorite toys? Kongs, of course! Fill them with treats, peanut butter, or even canned dog food, and he`ll be busy for hours. But don`t let his love of work fool you - Rex is a sweet boy at heart. He loves people and loves to play! Whether it`s a game of fetch, tug-of-war, or simply running around the backyard, Rex is always up for a good time. If you are interested in adopting and have experience working with dogs specifically trained for police or military work, please email gkocher@pspca.org._______________The Pennsylvania SPCA350 E Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19134Kennel #3079

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. DeeDee and her sister DOLLY was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas and arrived at Give a Dog a Home Rescue, in Sebec, Maine on 24th September.  We post in east coast states and Canada as we have many families adopt and are happy to make the worthwhile trip up to the rescue. We do not always have time to post all the pictures on each dogs individual page, but we do post a lot of photo's on the rescue Facebook page. DeeDee is spayed, rabies, core vaccines, monthly preventatives, heartworm and tick disease tested negative and is microchipped with 24PetWatch. She has an estimated date of birth of September 2023 and on 22 September weighed 50 pounds. We have no way of knowing the breed, it is up to individuals to look at the pictures and videos to make up their own mind. The shelter noted the following on 2 September about both girls who were taken to the play group individually: Not feeling quite confident on the leash yet, was carried to the yard. She wasn't feeling confident enough to join in with the others at this time. She was standoffish and could feel overwhelmed at times.   Kennel visit - 5 September Stayed on bed and was licking my hands but when I went to pet her she kept flinching and moving her head. Got off the bed and continued to lick hands but still flinched when tried to pet her. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks.  She does need an active family who will ensure she gets all the exercise, both mentally and physically that she needs to live a happy fulfilling life. DeeDee is available for an adoption fee of $550 or if adopted with her sister DOLLY the adoption fee is $1,000 for both girls. Interested families are required to complete our application process and once approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue in SEBEC, Maine to meet and take home their new best friend. Our process takes 1-2 days as long as we are able to talk to references, so be prepared to be approved (hopefully) to adopt within a few days of submitting the adoption application.
