I am a stunning, wrinkly-faced young adult female Belgian Malinois/Boxer mix with an adorable underbite who’s the perfect mix of energetic and relaxed. I am an unpredictable gal with a high prey drive so cats are not a good fit for me; I’m reactive when it comes to other dogs or unknown/sudden sounds like bikes whizzing by etc.; and I’m a pack follower so if there’s a fight, I may feel compelled to join the chaos. That said, I went to a training facility where there were many other dogs and I did great so I think with time, patience, and continued training I may overcome these ‘quirks’ of mine!! Hee, hee! Anyway, my favorite activities include cuddling with my people; going for leashed walks; snoozing on the couch; eating; playing with squeaky toys; chewing on bones/sticks; chasing the cat; chilling with my canine sib; running zoomies; and barking at strangers outside! I don’t like a lot of commotion and have been known to bite if someone comes into the house when foster mom is not home. I am, however, a very smart girl who will not only give myself a kenneled ‘time-out’ if I’m barking too much but I am potty trained and I know commands like “sit”, “down”, “kennel/crate”, and “heel”! Seriously, how brilliant am I!?! I am a great listener too which makes training a lot easier! Hee, hee!! I know that I’m a bit unpredictable right now but I’m still young and I really am a sweetheart who simply wants to find unconditional love in my own furever home with a patient family who will NEVER give up on me! My heart is SO full of love that I really want to share with YOU…please be my new family, I assure you I’m worth it! Pretty mellow dog, not spayed but up to date on shots as of 3/23/2024. Has been around young kids (2-7yo) and a cat. Loves the outdoors (walks, playing in water, and rope/chewy toys). Two different colored eyes. Born 11/30/2023. A bit of a jumpy girl, but understands not to jump on kiddos. When encountering other animals (such as other dogs or cats) on walks, she mostly will ignore them or look at you for direction. Crate/kennel trained, sleeps in there at night. Does have a bit of separation anxiety (chewer) but thrives with her pack. Definitely could use some training in manners and leash manners, but does know commands such as sit lay down shake leave it and kennel. Very laid back for a husky mix, and really not vocal much. Looking for a home that can give her structure or a job to do, preferably with another large breed dog but not a requirement with an experienced owner. Rehoming due to landlord dog breed policy change.
