DESCRIPTION: The Fall puppies - Autumn, Cider, Ember, Maple, Pumpkin, and Sweet Potato (Tator) - were an accidental litter. Raised together with their parents, these dogs have had the chance to learn many doggy social skills. Although their human family enjoyed the puppies, it can be difficult to care for a large litter and challenging to find safe and loving homes. Recognizing that the Fall puppies would be most successful if placed within a breed specific rescue, their family contacted MAGSR. We promised that we would find each pup a safe and loving forever family that would cherish these babies for a lifetime. The Fall puppies are very large babies for their age. They are clearly big fans of food. Having spent time outside, these babies love the sights, sounds, and smells of the outdoors. So, they are hoping their forever families love adventures. Although these babies have been socialized well with their doggy family, they have not been exposed to many new people or situations. Socialization is critical to their success. Recognizing that social skills are essential as the Fall puppies move forward, our amazing volunteers are already beginning this process. Learning the ins and outs of living in a household, these babies are learning the joys of endless toys, comfortable beds, and loads of love. As they continue to move forward, all six babies will strive in households that will provide the structure, routine, and leadership that all shepherds crave. Although these babies are absolutely adorable, please remember that puppies are a lot of work. Puppies will whine, chew, have accidents, and fill your home with endless antics. With time, training, and patience, all 6 babies - Autumn, Cider, Ember, Maple, Pumpkin, and Sweet Potato - will develop into good canine citizens.
