This handsome boy is a fast learner and has mastered essential commands like sit, down, wait, and shake. He's so clever that he tackled a level 3 puzzle on his first try! Ranger is a well-behaved and well-trained pup, making him a pleasure to have around the house. He's house trained, crate trained, and shows no signs of destructiveness indoors. However, he does experience some separation anxiety when his human leaves the house, which is why he's kept in his crate during errands. But don't worry, when he's playing in the backyard with his furry friend, he's perfectly content and doesn't exhibit any separation anxiety. Ranger is an active boy who loves going on walks, and he'll gladly accompany you on all your outdoor adventures. While Ranger is intelligent and affectionate, he can be barrier reactive, meaning he may react when he encounters certain barriers or boundaries. Patience and positive reinforcement training can help him overcome this behavior. This is very typical behavior for both breeds and he absolutely has to be adopted into a Mali/GSD knowledgeable family/ Ranger was in pretty rough shape when rescued and the vet initially thought he had an intestinal disease. Nothing was definitively diagnosed but the vet believes he has small intestinal issues. He is on a folate vitamin daily and will just need annual lab work and a high quality RAW FOOD diet. Ranger's charm and charisma shine through in the photos and videos provided, capturing his playful and loving nature. I was adopted at 3 months old but my family had a health crisis and had to surrender me back to my foster mom. Sadly, due to an unexpected change in employment, I will no longer be able to properly take care of Mussa, be with her—breaks my heart. Mussa is a great dog. She is chill tempered at home: loves the couch as much as catching a tennis ball; obedient, very well house trained, loves people's company. She doesn't get along with other dogs. She should be leashed on walks at all times (tends to react aggressively to certain dogs or tries to get away from others). Avoidance strategies are best, unless she can run in a wide enclosed space. She would chase squirrels and deer if allowed! She is very affectionate and loves to be petted. She revs up and gets excited about walks or play. Her obedience and willingness to please make her easy to handle with firm kindness. She's not particularly food oriented. Her her cauliflower ear resulted from a poorly executed surgical intervention. She weighs about 60 lbs, is healthy, and is current on all her shots.

We rescued Sidney from a horrific shelter in Memphis, TN. When we got him, he was skin and bones and had some barrier aggression issues (who knows what horrors he suffered there) It didn't take long for Sidney to realize he was now safe and could start letting down his guard. Sidney Poitier has filled out and is truly a stunning dog. Sidney is about 2 years old, and is at his healthy weight of 80 lbs. Sidney is a very intelligent fellow, he learns quicky and is anxious to please. He will do well with a job and/or a lot of stimulation, long walks and hikes. He will do well with an experienced dog person. Sidney loves meeting new people. He has done well with large dogs he has met, however he is would not be good with small dogs or cats. Sidney does show barrier reactivity, however, when the barrier is removed (whether it is a crate, fence or car window) he show absolutely no issues. Because Sidney likes a lot of activity, he will need a securely fenced yard (must be a physical fence, not an electric or invisible system) He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly treatment for flea/ticks and heartworm prevention Sidney is currently located in the Middle TN area but transport is included in the adoption fee for approved adopter If you are interested in Sidney Poitier, email cox_ann@bellsouth.net for an application

Lulu is an amazing and very loving dog. I took her in back in June of 2021 when she was just a baby but in a household that was not taking care of her at all. I stepped up to the challenge since then I have been watching over her. She’s such a sweet pup and I have always strived to giving her the very best life but unfortunately no matter how much I want to I cannot anymore. I have 2 babies now and a full time job and that limits my time with Lulu. It’s hard for me to take her out when she needs to (we don’t have a fence), she’s so deserving of all the love and cuddles but my attention is so limited. She needs a home where she can roam freely and be dearly loved. She’s definitely protective of her territory but she’s very respectful when she’s out of her territory. I wish I can give her the life she deserves but I feel that keeping her is taking away from her having the best life. I’m just looking for a loving home for my girl. She does very well with kids too. She’s a sweetheart.
