Story
Meet Ricki! He is currently 2 months old, and we think he may be a Husky / Pit Bull mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch Ricki's video here: https://youtu.be/a8d3G1Ly2L4?feature=shared Ricki is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. Ricki loves to play and then take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat - such is puppy life! Ricki is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Ricki's new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67af64e78affdee008013b64 Please email katia@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Found this litter of babies on the side of the road close to my house. I live out in the country and there seems to be a lot of drop offs anywhere in the area I live in I have lived here for 21 years and me and my family have taken in a lot of dogs/cats to add to apart of our family. There are 4 of them all boys! I’m not able to provide for them and would rather help give them a forever home! Asking for $50 for the things they’ve needed to be well taken care of, have tried to take them to shelters in my area to be homed but everywhere is too full for them to be taken. Have also asked the first 2 shelters i’ve been too what breed they most likely are, and both said the same breed/mix

Story
Ari is not your typical Malinois. She is calm, playful, sweet & affectionate. She walks well on a leash, she is dog friendly and great with kids, but cats are unknown. Ari likes taking an occasional walk, but no demand for a daily thing. She is not a chronic chewer, but does like her toys and can entertain herself. She will alert bark, but shuts it down when asked. If youre wanting a semi-active dog who can also chill and be a nice house dog...this is your girl. Ari is spayed. Vaccines & Rabies are up to date, she is microchipped and crate trained. reach out to us with any questions 208-509-7245

Story
How does a dog like Storm end up in a high kill shelter as a stray and then unclaimed & facing euthanasia due to space? Storm is good natured. LOVES people, good with well mannered female dogs, but NO cats. Storm is gorgeous and has the drive and brains to learn anything. His ball & food drive top notch and he will work for a ball like no other. Storm is an active boy so an occasional walk or playtime would be necessary, but he also knows to settle when asked. He is ready for his new home, he's neutered, vaccines & rabies are up to date, microchipped & crate trained. Contact us with any questions or for an application. 208-509-7245

MEET SWEET FREYA.... Freya was rescued from a crowded California shelter in the nick of time. While there, she was kenneled with another dog, and was calm and gentle. She loves other dogs and is very playful, and she's a sweetheart with people. Freya is also a bit shy but will blossom once she knows you. She is likely a Belgian Malinois-shepherd cross. Freya is about 1-1/2 years old and is currently looking for a foster or forever home. She weighs about 55-60 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
Hawk is a 1.5yr old Belgian Malinois. HE DOES REQUIRE A WORKING DOG HOME or would do well as a Personal Protection Dog. He is looking for a permanent place to call home. He walks well on a leash, he has a high ball drive and loves to play ball and tug, he takes treats nicely and is good with kids. Hawk would enjoy being your sidekick and hanging out. He is medium - high energy so will need a home that will keep his mind busy. We are looking for a 1 dog home with NO cats. Hawk is neutered, vaccines are current, he is microchipped & crate trained. We are taking applications so Call or text with any questions 208-509-7245
