Tex was a Miami Dade Animal Shelter survivor from the euthanasia list. He had a home for two years where he enjoyed hikes, car trips around the country, a furry companion. Then sadly, his owner lost her home and Tex lost his family. He started acting out and his owner couldn't handle him anymore. Tex is getting the best training to deal with his issues and is doing amazing! Tex has been through a lot and deserves someone who will continue with his training. He's a great boy!

Story
Vee is AKC registered. She just turned 1 year old. She is crate trained, knows basic commands (heel off leash, sit, place, break, and no), and has been collar conditioned. Vee was raised around two other dogs but can still be reactive towards dogs she does not know. She is very sweet and loves to cuddle. She has a lot of energy and needs exercised a few times per day. She is very smart and highly driven. This requires mental stimulation daily as well. Her ideal owner has time and land to let her run/exercise daily. Unfortunately, we moved to an apartment with a lot of other dogs around, and my job is taking up most of my time. Caring for her has become too much, and we would both benefit from this rehome. Rehome price is negotiable. My biggest concern is who and where she goes to. I provide the best life I can for her, and I expect the same... Her ideal space would be a house with land fenced in, or out of town. Apartments can work but she has daily needs that must be met.

Story
Although she is somewhat shy with strangers, Mieli has been coming out of her shell as she experiences new people and places. She is progressing consistently meeting new people as long as it's done calmly and slowly. This brindle beauty is eight years young and loves long walks, enjoying quieter places without lots of activity and commotion. Although she walks well on leash, it is suggested to use a harness which gives her added security and also helps the handler with any potential pulling. She adores car rides and soft music and would make a great long-distance traveler. She is very food motivated and is learning to sit patiently as she shows off her silly one sided smile anticipating that special treat. Once she trusts you, she will be a faithful companion and will adore snuggling up by your side and getting tummy rubs. She loves to watch you with her soulful eyes and the tip of her tail moves joyously when you speak to her. If you are interested in meeting Meili and watching the light beam from her eyes, please fill out an adoption application (no commitment) at Satchelslastresort.org.

Story
I'm looking for a new home for my dog. She's a little over 3 years old and she's potty trained, knows how to sit, stay, lay down and paw. We got her when she was only two months old from a junkyard. She has a very shy personality and is very protective of the home growling at anyone new that approaches the home so she makes for an excellent gaurd dog. Although she can look very intimidating she has never actually attacked or bitten any animal or person or living creature but she does show food aggression and thats why I have to rehome her. I have a two year old and we have tried to curb this behavior but I don't want to chance an accident ever happening. We haven't had the time for her since the baby was born so it probably stems from not enough active time. she would be the perfect dog for someone with lots of space that dosen't mind the shedding and has no small children.

He is a thin big guy But day by day, he is starting to gain a little weight and be able to run across the yard without his back shaking🥹 Zero Absolutely loves balls, but he will do anything for his green jolly ball(which will go with him when he is adopted) He also absolutely loves beds, mainly dog beds !! But he is also a huge cuddler loves to be held and talk to like a baby 🤣💓 He loves car rides. He does not pull on the leash for the most part.. he loves going into public and walk, especially when people pet him. He absolutely loves his Starbucks cups.!! He is great with dogs ,baby’s,kids all people basically. (Not sure of cats as he seems to be scared of them) He is down for any type of training session, especially if you have a in your hand. He is very easy to train. All he wants to do is please you!!! Zero is an energetic big ball of love! Story
Hannah was pulled from a high kill shelter when she was picked up as a stray . She did not do well in that noisy, stressful shelter environment and was put on the euthanasia list. She is a sweet, intelligent, obedient girl with an eagerness to p[lease. She has been working with a trainer and knows many commands. She loves attention, playing ball and playing chase. She will make a wonderful and loyal companion. A terrific addition to any home. Since German Shepherds are a strong working breed, we are recommending that she be adopted to someone with GS experience and knowledge.
