Tex was a Miami Dade Animal Shelter survivor from the euthanasia list. He had a home for two years where he enjoyed hikes, car trips around the country, a furry companion. Then sadly, his owner lost her home and Tex lost his family. He started acting out and his owner couldn't handle him anymore. Tex is getting the best training to deal with his issues and is doing amazing! Tex has been through a lot and deserves someone who will continue with his training. He's a great boy!

She is progressing consistently meeting new people as long as it's done calmly and slowly. This brindle beauty is eight years young and loves long walks, enjoying quieter places without lots of activity and commotion. Although she walks well on leash, it is suggested to use a harness which gives her added security and also helps the handler with any potential pulling. She adores car rides and soft music and would make a great long-distance traveler. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters. Please note, we will not approve an adoption to individuals or families residing in rental apartments. Typically, apartment complexes have pet policies on restricted breeds and weights which includes German Shepherd Dogs, Belgian Malinois, bully breeds, etc. These dog breeds are not breeds that will thrive in an apartment setting regardless of the management pet policy. Hannah was pulled from a high kill shelter when she was picked up as a stray . She did not do well in that noisy, stressful shelter environment and was put on the euthanasia list. She is a sweet, intelligent, obedient girl with an eagerness to p[lease. She has been working with a trainer and knows many commands. She loves attention, playing ball and playing chase. She will make a wonderful and loyal companion. A terrific addition to any home. Since German Shepherds are a strong working breed, we are recommending that she be adopted to someone with GS experience and knowledge.

MR MOOSE NEEDS A NEW HOME MR MOOSE came into the rescue from an owner relinquishment. Due to extremely extenuating circumstances. He was placed in a kennel for 30 days and wasn't really handled. He is now in our rehab with our head trainer Dale for a board and train for 4 days. Once we get him settled in we will neuter him and he will be ready for a forever home. He is an active dog who loves to play ball,. He is gentle but definitely needs an alpha to get him under control. My hope is he will learn enough from Dale to go straight into his new home. Whoever gets him will need to continue his training in a social setting, to make him their dog. He weighs about 80 pounds and he is solid. He did have a hot spot on his chest which has now cleared up. He is UTD on shots, hw neg and has had some basic obedience training. He knows sit, but the command they taught him was 'down'. He does know back up, so that when he drops the ball to play he backs up 3 feet and sits. He will make a family a great dog once he gets his act together. ##2239803##
