Story
Currently being fostered in Inverness, FL Meet Quasi (aka Queso as her foster calls her) this approximately 15lb ball of fun furry is quite stunning. She is your typical mouthy pup who likes to run and play until she crashes. With so much to see and smell at her foster farm home, every day is a learning experience. From meeting other dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and kids this little lady takes it all in stride. Although she is small now, she definitely has a big attitude and will need the right person who understands socialization, building confidence with positive reinforcement, and teaching her the proper behaviors to be an outstanding dog. As we don’t know exactly what she is a mix of and how big or small she will be full-grown, adopters will need to be open to the understanding of the unknown. She is also quite spicy when first meeting new dogs so if you currently have one it will need to be accepting of a little spice in their life. Since she is a puppy as expected there is still work to be done but she is doing very well with crate training, potty training, leash training, etc. She is truly a gem and will be an absolutely amazing dog for the right home that is ready and willing to invest the time to help her development into the great pup, we already know she is. If you would like to be considered for her forever home please submit your application today.

Story
This breaks my heart to post, but I’m looking for a new loving home for my sweet dog, Forrest. With losing my housing, I can’t give him the space he truly deserves. I’m looking for a caring, responsible person who will give him a stable home and lots of affection. He is very sweet, playfully with everyone and lots of energy. He loves toys Located Orlando Florida

Story
Volunteer Notes: She hopped right into the car for her Doggy Day Out, though she seemed a bit nervous during the ride. Once we got going, she stayed very close and happily followed me everywhere I walked. She is a very high-energy dog and can jump very high, so she’ll likely do best with an active adopter who can give her plenty of exercise and help work on her manners. She’s also a bit of a counter surfer and will try to grab food if it’s within reach. With guidance and a treat, she was able to sit, but she will benefit from basic training to help her learn commands and boundaries. During our outing, she showed great behavior around other animals, she saw ducks but didn’t chase them and was able to walk by other dogs without reacting. She is very affectionate and loves giving kisses, and if you stop petting her, she’ll gently nudge her head in to ask for more. One of the highlights of her day was enjoying a pup cup, which she absolutely loved.

Story
Hi, my name is Rusty. My foster mom calls me Rusty Dog. I am great with people. House and crate trained. Good with other dogs once I am properly introduced. I have a little rat terrier friend who I enjoy playing with as well as a few big dogs. I came from south Fla where I was living in an area that people tend to dump dogs. I was attacked many times trying to survive. The age is a guess but I am young. My foster mom thinks Im just over a yr. I do need more training I do have bad habits but nothing that cant be fixed with the proper training. No cats as I do chase. I am a good watch dog. I live on a hobby farm and I watch everything. I am an inside dog. I would do good in most any home. Please no first time dog owners- vet referral is needed.
