Name:   Theodore          Best Guess for Breed:   Malinois, Lab    Best Guess for Age:   8 months as of February 2025          SEX:    Male   Approximate Weight:   38 lbs as of February 2025 (but still growing!)   Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven't seen Theodore with kids or cats. We are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!    Currently Living at:   DC area boarding facility. Theodore needs a forever home!   Theodore is Looking For:    A forever home - could it be with you? I heard about another Theodore who was a former President, but all I want is a loving family to give me belly rubs and cuddle in bed with. I would love to go to obedience class with you so I can show off how smart I am. Other dogs have told me that they get treats and belly rubs when we're done! So what do you think - do you have room in your life for a sweet boy like me? What My Foster Says About Me:   Theodore is a sweet pup with a whole lot of energy and will need consistent exercise and play. He's very food motivated and I got the impression he may have been in a home before and appears to be a quick study. On a day out, Theodore walked with a good pace but didn't pull too hard on the leash and generally responded to corrections. He did well at the dog park, too. He liked playing fetch but seemed to love playing with two of the other dogs even more. He played extremely well and didn't push too hard. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT:      The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online   at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog.   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption.
