Story
Hutla, smaller malinois mix, 48 lb, female, spayed, 1 yoHutla is a beautiful, sweet, waggy, happy girl. She looks like a very small shepherd, she is young, playful,  obedient and trainable.  She was abandoned in the fields and showed up one night at someone's farm with her mom Ursa. Needs to be guided with  patience gentleness as she is young and often acts puppy-like. She is loving and cuddly. She is rather friendly and submissive with the other dogs, but gets nervous at first and needs proper introduction. Better with the male dogs. Good on a leash. Needs a fenced yard with 6' fence. Adoption fee $325. If interested, please submit an adoption or foster application at https://www.sanNicolaDogRescue.com      October 18, 2024, 12:21 am

Ursa, 2-3 yo, malinois, 56 lb, spayed femaleUrsa showed up one night at someones farm with her puppy Hutla, apparently abandoned. She is gorgeous, loyal, a lot of love and rather calm and cooperative. She is good with another friendly male dog and her puppy Hutla who used to hide under her at first. However malinois are more like shepherds and should be on a leash around stranger dogs. She needs a secure yard with 6' fence. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. AdoptaGSD.org   Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. We are cross-posting Arlo, who is with All Mixed Up Rescue. He is just short of being two years old and he is on the hunt for his forever home. Since he is a Belgian Malinois, adopters must be familiar with the breed and have experience in working with and training them. Arlo is a sweet boy who lives people but requires a strong handler to keep is attention. He loves to train and learn new tricks, especially when treats are involved. He walks great on leash and will heel when given the command. He would do best as an only dog. He also needs a home without young childrenbecause they cause him to be stressed with their energy. He does have a high prey drive, so no cats or small critters. Arlo completed a training program, so he knows his commands. His adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in this special boy, please submit your application to https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/adopt/Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Although we do our best to keep our adoptable animals page as current as possible, the animals you see may already be in an adoption process.   November 6, 2024, 4:07 pm

AdoptaGSD.org   Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. Hi, my name is Frieda, and I'm a beautiful Malinois with an estimated DOB of 7/12/22 who was transferred from a shelter where I arrived with my three puppies Seraphina, Ophelia and Augustine. We were taken from our former home because we were not receiving proper care. We're all now in Colorado and in various foster homes. Initially, I was really scared of things with noisy motors (washing machines, dryers, lawn mowers, motorcycles etc), but I've been receiving help from a dog trainer who says I'm making excellent progress. She also says I'm a super sweet girl who loves affection, and I'm doing great in the house with proper boundaries and structure. I'm kennel trained, I walk nicely on leash, and I've learned "sit, down, stay and place". I love to play with other dogs, but I do have a rough play style. I'm still learning what I can and can't chew on, so I'll need someone who can supervise me and continue to work with me. My foster mom would also prefer that I go to a home with children who are older than 8 yrs. If you are interested, please go to adoptagsd.org and submit an online application. My adoption fee is $400. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. AdoptaGSD.org   Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. Hi, my name is Alcatraz, and I'm a handsome Belgian Malinois with an estimated DOB of 5/8/24, and I was transferred from a shelter where I arrived as a stray and nobody came to find me. I was placed on the euthanasia list, but thankfully, FRGSR saved me! Prior to transport, I did have a chance to spend some time in a foster home, and my foster dad said the following: Alcatraz had some glam shots! He's so sweet and has gained so much confidence while in foster care so far! He's a happy boy that LOVES toys! He likes to play catch me if you can with his toys. He's a smart boy who's very food motivated. I had a great time spending time with him and playing with him. As long as he gets continued structure and guidance, he should be a wonderful companion. He's a mischievous goofball that loves to explore too. So happy that he has a brighter future ahead of him. He's s stunning young boy! Story
These ladies are sisters, very attached to each other and cannot be separated. They are big love babies! They want your pets and attention, loves and treats and lots and LOTS of playtime! I adopted them from a family that was not expecting puppies, and I was not expecting this upcoming schedule shift. We no longer have the available time they need to live their best life. They have gone to the dog park a lot - they’re scaredy cats and take a while to warm up to other dogs, but once they do, it’s a party! They are pretty well trained as far as some simple commands, and they’re housebroken, but need more training for leash. I love them and this kills me, but it’s in THEIR best interest.
