Story
Kiara is very energetic and spunky. She was rescued from an abusive home when she was 4mo old in December of last year and has been living with me ever since. I put her through 8 weeks of obedience training classes when I first got her, and from that she learned the commands sit and down. Unfortunately, because of my busy schedule I was not able to keep up with the other training from the course, so she does have some behavior issues like jumping on people when she first meets them. She is house trained, kennel trained, and she knows how to use a dog door. Kiara needs a lot of attention to keep her busy and entertained. I am away for work 10-12 hours a day and I'm not able to devote the time to her that she deserves. Right now she spends every work in her kennel because she will get into mischief when she's bored. I'm looking for a loving, active home that can devote time to train and take her on daily walks and adventures. She is very sweet and deserves the best home I can find.

Story
In 1978, Barry Manilow famously sang:“Her name was Lola, she was a showgirlWith yellow feathers in her hair and a dress cut down to there…She would merengue and do the cha-chaAnd while she tried to be a starTony always tended bar…”We thought that Barry’s song could use a pupdate:“Her name was Lola, she was a shepherdWith big brown eyes and even bigger earsShe cannot dance, but spoons the bestAnd promises to love you for years and yearsStriving to bring you laughter and not tears…”Lovely Lola spent the better part of a year in a foster home where they learned about her many amazing traits. She loved the family cats and she did well with the small dogs in the home. She was reported to be a friendly, high energy girl who LOVES laying on the floor, spooning and getting belly rubs. She was also house and crate trained. During a brief adoption Lola was well- behaved when left home alone, was house trained, loved toys, liked hiking, and was an affectionate girl who wanted nothing more than to be with her family. We learned that she will need a home without kiddos (16+ please!). “Lola is a very smart and devoted pet. She obeys commands such as sit, stay, wait, and go to your bed. She heels and stays before crossing the street when on walks. Lola really loves adults and getting attention, pets, belly rubs from her owners. She is calm most of the time in the home but sometimes gets the silly zoomies. Lola loves stuffed animals that squeak to chew on. She loves to go on long walks, but does need training to not pull on the leash. Lola would be an awesome, ever-loving and devoted companion to a single adult or couple looking for a great dog to continue to train and love.”Lola’s volunteer friends at the shelter also adore her:“Lola is a giant sweetheart! She is so excited when her volunteer friends come to get her at the kennel gate! She is bouncy but easy to leash up in her kennel. Once in the play yard she goes potty right away and then wants to sit at her volunteer friend’s feet for pets! This girl has the best, biggest smile. When she sits next to you looking up and smiling, you just know that she will give her whole heart to her forever family!” Lola shares has been social and easygoing when meeting other dogs in playgroup. If you’re looking for a gorgeous girl who is house-ready and an absolute joy to be around, come meet Lola today!

Story
Foster Notes: Rocco by is a 8 month gentle man, ready to find a family. He has a rough story, adopted as a puppy from a high kill shelter just to be returned a few months later because his owner “didn’t have time for him”. After being back in the shelter for over month and being the longest residents with a potential death sentence for space, he finally was rescued and now he’s under my foster care. He’s shy but full of love, he just wants an stable and loving home. Highlights - dog friendly, great with small dogs- cat friendly- Super sweet and chill- Good with people, never aggressive and not a barker- Kennel trained - Loves walks and toysRequirements He’s a around 40 lbs, so he needs someone who can give him walks and is patient to train him. He’s a puppy still and has so much potential to learn.

Story
Ruff ruff, Ello my name is General! I’m 42 in dog years and in human years I’m 6 years old. As I’m getting older my family has been so busy and can’t provide me the love I deserve so I’m looking for something better that can work with me. I’ll be a good boy I promise as long as you show me the love I deserve! I rarely bark which is always a plus (wink wink) I love cuddles and attention. Lately I’ve been having bathroom troubles so I end up going where I please but it’s not my fault due to school schedules, football practices, work schedules, it’s hard for my owners to juggle and fit me in! We can go on nice walks to some food! I love taking rides to get puppuccinoes, basically I’d love anything that has to do with me and you spending time together! You don’t gotta worry about having kids around me I don’t bite or growl! Have some dogs in your life? Don’t worry I’m good with other dogs too! I will fulfill your heart with so much love I promise!
