If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will always have your back, Link is your guy. This 7-year-old German Shepherd is everything you love about the breed! Smart, devoted, and deeply connected to his people. He’s the kind of dog who forms a strong bond and sticks by your side through it all. Despite his classic shepherd instincts, Link has a wonderfully laid-back nature and truly enjoys simply being with his humans. Link is both potty trained and crate trained, and he settles nicely into home life. Like many shepherds, he takes his job of “keeping watch” seriously and will let out a protective bark when someone enters the home! Just his way of making sure his family is safe. He does have some prey drive, so a home without cats or small animals would be the best fit. While he has done well with a baby, his natural herding instincts can show up with quick-moving toddlers, so a home with older children would suit him best. Link is the kind of dog who will love you with his whole heart! Steady, loyal, and true. And once you’re his person, you’ll never walk alone again.
