Friendly, affectionate, and incredibly sweet, Blackjack wants nothing more than to be close to you. One of his most endearing traits is the way he gently leans into you during pets, as if he’s returning every bit of love you give him. Along with his affectionate nature, Blackjack has a fun and playful side that makes spending time with him a joy. He enjoys leash walks, short jogs in the park, and taking his time exploring all the interesting scents along the way. He’s a great companion for someone who wants a loyal buddy to share both active moments and quiet time together. Lacey is a 1.5 year old female German Shepherd mix, and embodies everything people adore about her breed. She is engaging, fun, active, and incredibly smart - the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and is born to be a loyal, lifelong companion. She definitely does not deserve to be in a shelter, confined to a cage, which is especially difficult for dogs as smart as she is. On the bright side, several volunteers have really taken to Lacey - they love taking this sweet girl out on walks, and giving her a chance to run and explore in the park. She seems to be dog-friendly since she has been good when meeting other dogs, including small pups. On the other hand, Lacey seems much too interested in cats, so she is not recommended for a home with them. Otherwise, Lacey is a very good girl and already knows a perfect Sit … plus she would love to learn more in her forever family. So if you’re looking for a truly special dog who’s ready to give her whole heart to her forever family, come meet Lacey today and take home your new best friend!
