Story
Leia is a cutie with a spotted tongue, one ear up/one down combo and the most expressive eyebrows! She is a healthy, athletic, 3 year old, 65lb German Shepherd mix. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She is also housebroken, crate trained, and loves walks and car rides! Leia really just wants someone to adore and to give endless kisses! She is very excited when you first get home and sometimes jumps up, but she settles down and is happy to hang out with you while you work or just watch TV. Of course, she certainly would also enjoy going for a hike and exploring! She loves being outside and spends a lot of her day relaxing in the yard where she can sunbathe! Leia is a little nervous around new people, but it doesn't take her long to get comfortable and become your loyal companion. She is very alert and has a high prey drive so no cats! Although she has been fine around other dogs, she can be dominant and cranky with some so we think she would do best as the only pet in her next home. Due to her size and excitability, we also think she should go to a home without small children. Story
Molly is a purebred, 8 year old German Shepherd! She is very active for her age and could play fetch all day! She loves her ball and always carries it around with her! Even though she enjoys playing, she is also very well-behaved in the house and will just lay by your feet when it is time to relax. After being abandoned in a canyon (where she was rescued from) Molly is so grateful for all the comforts of a home and enjoys a soft bed to curl up in.  She is also very loyal. When she is left alone, she sits quietly and patiently by the door for you to come back.  Molly is friendly and gets along well with all people. She doesn't bark, knows basic commands, and she is crate trained as well as housebroken. She does sometimes pull on a leash though. (she is just so excited to explore and check everything out!) Molly can be around other dogs but is very dominant and would do best in a home without other animals.    She has been checked over by our vet and is in great shape! She does, however, have an eye condition that slightly impairs her vision and she takes daily drops to prevent further vision loss. She may not have perfect eyesight but she can still see and has no problems finding anything or getting around. Overall, Molly is a great girl! Well-behaved, playful, smart, loyal and loving!   If you're interested in meeting Molly, please visit our website at www.dominoeffectanimalrescue.org to fill out an adoption application!October 22, 2024, 5:04 pm

Story
Zendaya!!!!!!!! Oh sweet soft loving beautiful Zendaya!!!! Zendaya came to us from Coachella animal shelter where she was picked up as a stray after being shot in the shoulder. This poor Sweet Love Bug had a significant limp for quite a while on the right shoulder. The great news is that with lots of love and Rehabilitation with her foster family Zendaya now enjoys running, playing and romping with her friends on a 5 acre ranch. She is now ready to find her forever home! We are looking for a family who has the time and energy to give her the best life possible. She is very playful as you will see in this video. She is also quite smitten with a kiddy swimming pool and loves a soft bed with toys indoors. Call Piper's Path Rescue 760-445-0973
