Hello! My name is Lucy, and I'm sending you lots of tail wags and puppy kisses from Central Arizona Animal Rescue. Not too long ago, I was wandering the streets of Yuma with a belly full of hope – and puppies! Life sure was unpredictable, but then I was given a second chance by some wonderful folks who helped me come here. On my journey from Yuma to the rescue, I couldn’t wait to be a mom so I started to have puppies on the road. When I finished, I had became a proud mama to eight adorable furballs. Raising them has been my greatest adventure yet! Now that my puppies have found their own families, I dream of a forever home where I can be loved and cherished. I'm a sociable gal who enjoys the company of big dogs – I share my kennel with a handsome shepherd, and we're the best of roommates. I haven't had much experience with small dogs or cats, but I'm willing to learn if you'll guide me. I am not sure about housetraining, I probably am but I have been staying in the kennels with my babies so I haven’t had a chance to prove it yet. I love meeting new people and get so excited when I see other dogs through the fence – there's just something about making friends that makes my tail wag non-stop! I've been spayed, so the days of motherhood are behind me, and I'm all ready to be your loyal companion. I'm also vaccinated and microchipped, which means I'll always find my way back to you, no matter what. If you're looking for a furry friend who's great with people and full of love, look no further.
