Meet Mona!
Mona is a gentle, loving, and curious girl who has settled beautifully into her foster home. Around a year old and weighing 45 lbs, she has a heart full of warmth and a personality that shines. She’s eager to please, quick to learn, and already house-trained—no crate needed for this well-mannered girl!
Mona is the perfect blend of affectionate and independent. She adores snuggling up for cuddles and will happily soak up all the love you have to give. But she also enjoys her quiet moments, resting peacefully on her bed when she’s ready to relax. Outdoors, she’s a natural explorer, whether it’s sniffing around the backyard, joining in on group hikes, or enjoying her daily walks. She thrives on activity and would love an active family to keep her engaged.
Despite her sweet and easygoing nature, Mona has a bit of a mischievous side—she can’t resist chewing on paper if she gets the chance! But with the right chew toys and a little guidance, she’s quick to learn what’s allowed.
Mona is fantastic with other dogs, making her a great addition to a multi-dog household, but she’s also perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as the only pup. She has a natural respect for people and greets new friends politely—no jumping, just wagging tails and happy energy.
Mona is sensitive and thrives in a calm, patient environment where she can continue building confidence. Stairs are still a bit of a challenge, but she’s working on it and will master them in time.
Her beautiful coat doesn’t seem to shed, but she will need regular grooming to keep her looking and feeling her best.
With her loving personality and gentle nature, it’s hard to imagine Mona not adoring kids. She’s ready to find her forever home—one where she can continue exploring, learning, and sharing her endless affection.
