There's a new girl in town, and my name is Maxine! I am this adorable gal of around 3 years who is as sweet as can be, and I'm looking for a family, a home...one to call my very own. I am an affectionate and playful pup that is looking for a forever home where I can get all the attention and lovins I've been craving. I am super friendly and love everyone I meet. No stranger out there for me! Our walks may take a little longer as I love to go and greet everyone. I do great with all people from tall to small, other pups and even those strange things y'all call a cat! I's the perfect companion for a family who wants a fun loving life pup with lots of love to give, and who will include me in their adventures, from the mundane daily to the weekend exciting. I am happiest when I'm by your side! I come in at about 18lbs which makes me a pawsomely perfect smaller size. I's young, curious, and sweet, and so ready to be a heartbeat at someone's feet, could that be your feet?!! SPRUCE is an adorable doodle-type puppy looking for a home for the holidays -- all of the holidays for the rest of his life of course! We aren't sure what variety of doodle Spruce might be, but we think he looks like a mini goldendoodle, but that's just a guess. Spruce is 8.5 months old, born 3/21/2024. He's an Aries. Boy is he an Aries, energetic and ready for action. He's silly like a doodle. Spruce is a typical puppy and needs a home with an adopter who will train him to become a well mannered adult and keep him off of Santa's naughty list. Spruce is dog friendly and loves to play. He would love to find a home with another dog who matches him in size and play style. He may be too much for a smaller dog. He's currently 16 pounds and we don't expect him to get much bigger, we're guessing he'll remain under 20 pounds when fully grown. Spruce is a dog who will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling fabulous. If you'd like to meet Spruce, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Uno would do best as an only dog or with a submissive dog due to his energy and love of claiming his toys. He is missing an eye because he got into an altercation with a big dog that didn't like his attitude! He is crate trained and potties outside, but he does mark in the house with other males dogs present. he wears a belly band with no issues. Leash skills have improved and we just step away from dogs on the walk and redirect him. He could be leashed walked and be an only dog. He can coexist with other dogs with management of toys. He eats in his crate. If you have a fence with dogs on the other side, will take him awhile to get used to them without acting a fool. He is a fantastic companion in the right home. He is loving and loves affections. His behaviors of wanting to be King can be managed by experience pet owner. Freds Mission Rescue has an adoption radius of 100 miles from Cincinnati. All dogs are fully vetted, altered, current on flea/tick/heartworm/wormer, and microchipped. The rescue does not adopt out to properties with invisible fences or tie outs.
