Story
Meet Cooper: A Big-Hearted Bulldog Mix with Energy to SpareCooper is a 2-year-old American Bulldog mix who’s equal parts muscle, mischief, and marshmallow. Athletic and high-drive, he thrives with routine, structure, and clear expectations. While he loves his cozy time with his favorite blankie, once he’s up, it’s go time—long walks, durable toys, and mental challenges keep this strong, smart boy at his best. He already knows basic commands like sit and down, and he’s generally good on leash, though a confident handler is key to keeping his excitement in check.Cooper has a very high prey drive, so he needs a home with no cats or small animals. With a proper introduction, he may do well with either a male or female canine companion that is closer to his size. A slow and proper introduction is reccomended, and a Meet & Greet onsite is required if you do have another dog. Due to his strength and tendency to get overstimulated, he’s also best suited for an adult-only home with bulldog-savvy adopters. In the right hands, Cooper will be a loyal, loving companion who’s as happy tackling a training challenge as he is curling up in his blanket. If you’ve got the experience, patience, and a stash of heavy-duty toys, Cooper might just be the bulldog mix you’ve been waiting for.

Meet Zayn: A Sensitive Husky Mix Who Needs Time and UnderstandingZayn is a 3-year-old husky mix with a thoughtful, reserved nature and a heart that opens slowly. He’s the kind of dog who needs extra time to feel safe and comfortable in new situations, especially with new people. Once trust is built, Zayn shows his softer side, but patience and consistency are key when forming a relationship with him. He does best with calm, predictable routines and handlers who can move at his pace.Zayn has passed his cat and dog test, a meet and greet with any resident dog is required. Due to his need for additional time and space to settle in, Zayn is best suited for an adult-only home with adopters who understand the importance of slow introductions, clear boundaries, and ongoing positive reinforcement. With the right environment and a committed adopter willing to invest the time he needs, Zayn has the potential to form a strong, loyal bond. If you’re looking for a companion and are prepared to offer patience, structure, and understanding, Zayn may be the dog for you.

Story
Meet Shadow – An Energetic Companion Seeking Structure and UnderstandingShadow is a 2-year-old German Shepherd mix who is friendly, people-oriented, and eager to engage with those around him. He enjoys human companionship and is a very playful dog who benefits from regular interaction and enrichment. Shadow is house-trained and accustomed to living in a home environment.Shadow can become overstimulated at times, particularly in high-energy situations, and will do best with adopters who are experienced, attentive, and able to provide clear boundaries and guidance. While he has lived with children, due to his tendency to become overstimulated, we recommend a home with children ages 8 and older who can understand and respect his need for calm interactions. He has not yet been cat or dog tested, and his profile will be updated as additional information becomes available. Shadow does have a strong interest in chewing paper, so careful management of household items will be important.Shadow is best suited for a home that can offer structure, consistency, and appropriate outlets for his energy. With the right environment, he has the potential to be a loyal and engaging companion.
