Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Introducing Luna, an approximately 11 month old 65 lb Dobie mix. She is a big baby, very sweet and playful. Once she warms up to you (doesn't take long)  she will not want you out of her sight. She loves balls and chew toys and playing outside. Luna is a medium to high energy girl and LOVES to just run in the yard, so a fenced in yard is a must for her. She really has no clue how big she is and thinks she is a lap dog. Due to her size and energy, small kids or small dogs would not be ideal. She is dog friendly though and loves to play. She sleeps in her crate and is housetrained now. Luna is doing well on a leash and rides well in the car.  She does have a sock fetish and likes to chew them so laundry should be kept up in a hamper. Luna will need an adopter who will be patient with her and continue to reinforce routines, socialization, and training. She will make a fabulous companion for an active family.  If you live in the central Florida area and feel your home is a great fit for Luna, please send in an application and let us know more about your family. Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Foster or Adopter Needed Rosie is an estimated 7-year-old, 42-lb. mixed breed female. Though we are not sure of her breed we do know that she is a mixture of sweetness and sass. Rosie is cautious in new situations and will require a slow introduction to her new home and other dogs, but will warm up and smother you with kisses once she realizes she’s safe. She gets along with same size to smaller, low energy dogs, but becomes nervous around younger, larger active ones. She would also do well as on only dog as she prefers human company. Rosie has not been cat tested and because she prefers a quieter environment, a home without young children is necessary. She is a little bit on the heavy side and could stand to lose a few pounds. Rosie is 100% housebroken and crate trained. Most of her day is spent lounging on her dog beds but she does look forward to her nightly walk around the neighborhood. She gets very excited when she sees her leash. She also likes to lay in the yard and watch the wildlife. She has shown no destructive behaviors as well as no food aggression. She takes treats very gently and is respectful to the other dogs in the house around food. She knows sit, down, stay, and is very responsive to verbal correction. She wants to please and be a perfect girl for you. Rosie also is a great car rider. She is overall quiet but she will bark when new people walk in the home but once they pet her she quiets down. If you are looking for a mellow, loyal companion and can provide a quiet, loving environment, then Rosie is your girl. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Rosie, please complete and app and tell us about your family. September 7, 2024, 1:50 pm
