Meet Linda 💛
Linda is the kind of dog who makes you feel instantly loved. She’s affectionate, joyful, and full of life — always ready to run, play, explore, or curl up near her people. She loves being outdoors and would be thrilled to join you for runs, hikes, or long walks (she proudly volunteers as your personal trainer and motivational coach 🏃♀️).
Linda adores people most of all. She greets the world with enthusiasm and sometimes jumps up to say hello — she’s working on her manners, but it comes from pure excitement and love. She’s wonderful with kids (hand-licking included), enjoys car rides, and bonds deeply with her humans. She’s also protective and alert, happily barking to let you know when someone’s nearby — a loyal family guardian at heart.
She gets along with other dogs, is fine with cats, but truly prefers human companionship. Despite her street-dog beginnings, Linda is a classy lady — often found lounging with her paws delicately crossed. She would love a home with a yard, but she’s also proven she can do well in an apartment with enough exercise and stimulation.
Linda has been through more than any young dog should. Estimated to be just one year old when she entered the shelter, she was heavily pregnant and tragically lost all 11 of her puppies. She has since been rescued and placed in foster care, though she’s had to move between homes and would greatly benefit from a stable, long-term foster or forever family.
Linda is herpes-positive, though the virus is currently dormant and does not affect her daily life or personality. She is healthy, happy, and full of love to give — and she deserves to be seen for the amazing dog she is, not a medical label.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion, adventure buddy, protector, and cuddle partner all in one — Linda might just be your girl.
