Story
I am unable to keep my dog with me due to HOA/Insurance restrictions. Rookie is a 6ish year old Doberman/Shepherd mix that is obsessed with fetch and loves being tasked with a job. He is professionally trained and knows all the basic commands (sit, up, place, shake, leave it, get it, down, speak, and more). Fully vaxed, neutered, and house-trained. He was adopted from the Milo Foundation back in 2019. Ideally this person has experience with smart and highly trainable dogs. A trainer would be great and a backyard would be even better. He attends daycare at Happy Hound and has never had an issue. He has however, had one incident where he broke the skin of a hooded person walking back on a walk. He can be aggressive out of fear/anxiety, but perhaps that is on me and our relationship. I really think a patient and knowledgable person can make Rookie the perfect dog. He has all the skills and desires, just needs the right match. He's better with women as well it seems!

Story
Milo is a loving, snuggly, happy dog. He has a lot of energy outside, and sleeps and snuggles inside. His favorite place is curled up beside a human on a loveseat or bed. If he’s missed us, he might curl up in our lap or chest. He thinks he’s smaller than he is! He has a gotten a very large amount of training, especially for loose leash walking. He loves all people and most dogs, though gets really worked up over new people. It can be hard to have guests over who don’t love dogs, as he will spend the first hour demanding pets and trying to lick their face. The reason we are looking to rehome Milo, is we recently had a baby. Unfortunately, Milo is not behaving safely towards the baby, and extensive training and meds have not made a lot of progress. We have been living with the in-laws while coming home daily for periods of training. It absolutely breaks our heart, but we need both Milo and baby to be happy and safe. We will pay all costs for his lifetime (food, medical, etc)

Story
Gustav is a 10y old, purebred, Black GSD. He was purchased from a breeder in NC in 2015 at 4months of age. I have been the only primary owner, and he has lived with my wife and 7yr old daughter at the time. He has had more than a hand full of professional training sessions, is house/crate trained, adheres to several basic voice commands and has a few and signals down but is a bit rusty. Recall with a little prompting would easily rectify that. Gustav is incredibly warm, friendly, curious and loyal. He has great energy still for a 10 year old, and loves long walks and fetching! I am newly divorced, a single dad in graduate school and work as an ICU nurse for Sutter Health in Berkeley, CA. I'm currently too busy with hospital and clinical requirements for grad-school and have moved into a small apartment. Gustav is unhappy and needs room and attention I cannot provide at the stage of my life. I'm simply looking for someone with a loving home and heart with time and attention for him!
