Story
My name is Henry. They really don't know my breed but I have a long snout and can possibly have some doberman or shepherd in me along with a little hound dog. You can do a DNA test for fun but just love me for whatever I am. I enjoy my foster mom taking me on walks. I know "sit command" and am eager to learn. I am good with other dogs and even those silly cats. I am house and crate trained. I would do great in an active family as my foster family has taken me kayaking. I"m not the life of the party but I want to be invited. I like playing fetch and want to know there my ball is. My foster mom says that I am pretty goofy. I also talk time out of my busy day to watch the hummingbirds and enjoy snuggle time. I'll make a great dog for your family. Do you want to adopt me?

Story
Stanley is an adorable large dog that needs a special home. Estimated to be a Shepherd mix, he is a lovable dog with some quirks it is important to pay attention to. Stanley is dog selective so count this big boy out for dog park play time. He has gained a reputation at the shelter for being an escape artist, so he will need to go to a home with a tall fence. Stanley needs a home with patient owners who understand that he will require some training and lots of room to run around and play. Ask about him at the front desk to see if you are the perfect for this sweet guy! He is not available for reduced adoption fee specials. Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

Story
Goose is a brown & tan Doberman mixed-breed puppy who was transferred to our shelter after being found as a stray. He is probably the happiest-go-luckiest little guy you will ever meet! Goose loves to be included and will give you lots of puppy loving for just looking his way! Since he was found as a stray, we do not yet know if he gets along with cats or other dogs. We do know that he did have a fractured femur, as well as a rupture of his CCL (knee). The knee was repaired surgically, but the rest healed due to cage rest. As a result, Goose will always have a slight limp because his leg is now a bit shorter. What he lacks in bone material he more than makes up for with his big personality. He will require a medical consult with our veterinarian before he can go home. He currently weighs about 35 Pounds (8/29/24) and his date of birth is 10/15/23. Come meet Goose! Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio.
