Story
Meet Maggie and Mo, an adorable bonded pair of Beagles looking for a loving forever home together! Born on 9/22/2017 and 9/22/2015 respectively, Mo is Maggie’s mom, and where one goes, the other is sure to follow! These two sweethearts were rescued from a local wildlife marsh after being purposely abandoned, and now they are fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and on preventatives, ready for their new family.Mo, the older of the two, is a laid-back lady who loves to be petted and enjoys a calm, relaxed day. Maggie, being younger and a little more adventurous, will happily follow you around and snuggle right into your lap for some love. Both are great with everyone they meet, including children! We do recommend a home with a fenced-in yard, as true to their Beagle nature, they may follow their noses on the trail of a scent. If you’re ready to welcome this inseparable duo into your home, apply online today at eastshoreha.org! Once approved, the shelter will arrange a meet-and-greet so you can experience their charm firsthand. Don’t miss out on Maggie and Mo!

Story
Meet Wilma! She was surrendered to the local animal shelter in Georgia and is roughly 1.5 years old. Originally they thought she was dealing with some skin issues on her rear end since all the hair from her tail to her midback were gone, but they now believe that her previous owner shaved her hair off! Poor girly is working on growing her coat back and it is coming in nicely. She is a smart cookie and knows "sit" and "down." She is friendly to other dogs and all people! She loves to play and is pretty active. She is currently in a foster home in Georgia and is doing great! Wilma made it to Wisconsin on 11/16 and is doing so well in her foster home! Please see our website: www.muttlife.org for more information on the adoption and foster process and to apply! You could be the one who saves her life!

Story
We are looking to rehome our 3 year old beagle mix, Scout. She is a wonderful dog, very loving, and wants to be by her humans always. We got a puppy a year ago and Scout is not adjusting well, she gets extremely jealous (never mean), her anxiety has increased, and she requires more attention than we can give her. I believe she would do better in a household where there are no other animals and she is the only dog. She does have anxiety when left alone (paces around the house continually) but she is on Purina calming care supplements which seems to help so that would most likely need to continue to be taken.
