Story
Billy is so incredibly sweet. He loves lots of pets and can’t get enough attention and cuddles. Although he is a little shy, he has quickly found a safe spot right next to his foster mom’s side. And each day, he is getting more and more comfortable in his foster home. As mom goes around doing all that she does, he has been picking up quickly along the way. Billy is playful, but probably more of the couch potato, cuddle, and love-me-up kind of dog. He has the softest eyes with the most lovable expressions.
So far, it seems that Billy does well with other dogs. Likely, he will do best in a home with one smaller dog with a calmer demeanor. He would do well in a home where his mom or dad is home the vast majority of the time.
Billy is not yet housetrained, but we are working on both potty training outside and using a potty pad inside. Billy is quite comfortable in his crate, and will go in as a source for comfort. However, we are still working on being totally comfortable through the night and when mom has to leave the house during the day. But even in a day’s time, we have made great strides!
Billy is just so darn loving. He would make a truly wonderful life-long companion pup.
Billy is estimated to be 5.5 months old and 18 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested.
