Nothing seems to bother him, he approaches each day with a goal of just sniffing around and tracking scents and he loves whoever has the time to give him some attention.Pretty easy and simple and yet it makes him so happy! And a happy Archie is a darling thing to see!Archie and his buddy, Andy, were abandoned by a hunter and were in horrible shape. They barely had any hair and they had sores all over their bodies. The rescue that found them took exceptional care of them and they look so handsome again!Despite the mistreatment, Archie never lost his zest for life! He just can't get enough of people and scents! Archie would be the perfect fit for so many people!Archie is 3-years-old and is 22 pounds. He is Heartworm positive but has already started his treatment and it is all covered by AAS!Please come see how Archie could be the perfect fit for you! You will leave with a smile on your face! Archie and his friends are available to see every day from 9am-12pm at Animal Aid Society, 80 Butler Farm Road, Hampton VA, 23666.Interested? My bailey.…I am crying as I write this but it’s what I have to do. My Bailey is the best girl there is. She is so full of love and cuddles she can never get enough. I have to do right by her and find her a home that matches her energy. I am never home I spend about 4 hours a day total with her and we barely get the weekends due to work. I accepted this job knowing I had a young puppy and now I feel like she would be better off with someone that has more time for her. I love her so much and it breaks my heart but I know she could be so much happier. Please contact me asap

Story
Sweet Huck was  a volunteer favorite at the shelter.  He is  2 years old (a baby who was stuck in a rural shelter), 56lbs( is on a diet), neutered, heart worm negative, and current on vaccines.  He revels in attention and knows basic commands.  Huck was an owner surrender and is house and crate trained.  He takes a while to warm up to some men so a slow intro with treats wins him over.   Like most dogs and people, he doesn't respond to yelling or rough treatment.  He loves to go for walks and would love to have a running partner to help him see the world.  He would do best with older children. Huck is a fast learner and is eager to learn new cues and tricks.  He is a snuggle bug according to his foster but would also like to go for a long walk or run.   Because he is a typical beagle, he loves to chew so he would need someone who will work with him and take him to training class.  If you think this adorable boy would make a wonderful addition to your home, PLEASE contact Rainbow Rescue at 757-472-1583 or rainbowanimalrescueva@gmail.comOctober 10, 2024, 12:16 am
